HOW TO FIX Ford Fiesta MK7 Seat Tilt Lever (not working)

This is a video showing you how to fix the seat tilt lever when it will not move forward / backward.
There is only 1 other video that is visible to me on KZbin explaining how to fix this, so I thought I’d help the people that need a fix solution.

Great vid. My drivers seat wouldn’t retract when I found ur vid. I found the clip and rod part of the mechanism u put glue on. It was fine on my car- confused me on how it was still not working. I found out there is another identical mechanism on the other side of the interior! Might seem a bit obvious to some people but hopefully my comment helps someone else who is clueless like me 😂👍🏼

Thanks for your help! Unfortunately my seat didn't clip though was sewed in, so I had to cut it annoyingly. But fixed it either way, thanks.

Would this work with the leather seats aswell? Wonder if they still have access from behind like yours do ??

@@TheKewnYT no sending it off to proper seat place to get fixed had to buy lumber with adjuster and hope that fixes it ... as it feels like im sitting in a hammock no good. Aha

@@TheKewnYT You can get access to the cables from the bottom of the ST seats, so you can pop it back on. It is super tight, but you can do it. Although from experience with mine it will keep coming back off. I think I'm going to end up replacing the whole cable assembly on mine.

Our model has cloth seats that look similar but the cloth doesn’t split like yours it’s all one peace
