I do the same thing. I submit a soil test every couple of years to get an idea of what is needed. I Then buy all my nutrients in bulk its cheaper. I Then do all my calculations and then make my own custom blends in the garage. I sometimes add a filler into the blend to help control release or sometime I just mix my npk to the prescription I need with no filler and run it per thousand.

It looks like its very early season this year. In Denmar its about 1-1½ month in season. We all have been sitting inside at the window and waiting like a little kid at christmas and waited to get out and mow the lawn! NOW ITS TIME! :D

I did lawn renovation in 2019 and I now have Poa throughout. Used tenacity about 3 weeks ago and it it all white now, looks terrible but NOT DEAD! Seems burning it down and starting over is in the cards again. N

Tenacity takes multiple apps to kill anything. Can do up to three if needed

I tried tenacity on my fescue lawn with multiple apps and it did not work. Fall pre emergent and poa constrictor finally wiped it out. Damaged the fescue pretty bad but it bounced back in the spring with zero poa.

Applying additional potassium may actually cause snow mold to be worse. You might want to back off the potassium in that section of your yard, check out the articles/studies done by the Asian Turfgrass Center.

What application do you put for snow mold prevention in the fall? when? Every spring my lawn gets blasted with snow mold (looks terrible). Takes till about mid June to recover - does recover well. My number one goal is to come out of Winter without snow mold.

The problem is I live in Canada and the only thing legal and that you can buy in stores for your lawn is maple syrup (lol, Eh).

The Russia-Ukraine conflict is what we're being told by our chemical reps. Not sure the actual numbers, but a *significant* volume of the world's fertilizer comes out of that region of Europe. Between the decreased supply and inflation, prices are skyrocketing. Glyphosate is astronomical at the moment. Either way, I'm sitting inside on the computer, but this really makes me want to get out and throw 'er down!
