This is probably the last Conor video I'll make.
The truth is that Conor used to be a huge inspiration for me. I have made so many videos of him because I have seen every interview he has ever done, often multiple times. I found inspiration and motivation listening to some of his old wisdom.
He changed the game, and my life, forever. I hope he returns to the inspiration he once was, but unfortunately it seems that money, drugs, success and fame have done an irreversible number on him. Through watching all of his content, it is clear that the shift happened partially after the Mayweather fight and completely after the Khabib fight. Gone was the confident, wise, growth obsessed martial artist. Replaced by someone with an arrogant, hateful, fixed mindset.
First double champ, crossed over to compete in the highest level of another sport, transcended sports completely. One of the greatest to ever do it, who unfortunately lost his way.

The martial artist Conor died when he lost to Floyd. Conor truly believe he could shock the world. Kept talking about an uppercut ( which he landed ) and a left hook that he kept throwing. The khabib fight was personal, and the rest were just money fights. It amazes me how a second biggest PPV match of all time was due in part because its boxing debut, and its one of the least remembered events relative to revenue generated.

Khabib might have not made as much money as Connor, but there is no doubt that he's got money. He's also an international star. He came from a town far smaller than Cremlin, Ireland. He actually came from a village, not even a town. However, not only has he not changed since finding money and fame, but has actually developed into a more humble, respectful, and God fearing man. So I don't buy that anyone else who gained such fame and notoriety would go crazy and turn into trash. I think Connor was this all along.....its just who he is.

Connor reminded me of Mike Tyson in the middle of the 90s. THis was the time of the Bite fight. At that point, Mike went from being an Elite fighter to a freak show. People stopped caring about his competition and kept buying those tickets anticipating if he is gonna go beast mode in or out of that ring. On one hand, it is a damn shame that as Elite of a fighter Connor is, he has to be reduced into whatever this is now. And why do this, when so many fighters like Cotoure, and notably St. Pierre elevated MMA to be an authentic disciplined sport rather than just simple human cockfighting. On the other hand, please do not get me wrong, I am not saying that Connor McGregor will destroy MMA. In fact because of his antics more people wanted to watch the UFC even more. Be it because they wanna see how he is gonna go berserk, or just to hope that someone is gonna give him a spanking. The point is, we really just wanted to see more of the Connor McGregor as the Elite fighter that he was meant to be

This is a different spot than climbing a ladder, and being several years in this spot changed him. Ah yes, so tragic. And yet he's the most popular MMA fighter ever. So much righteous indignation, but deep down, MMA fans love the controversy and drama Conor brings to the sport, even if they claim they're holier than thou.

Popular by what metric? Seems like you’re referring to name recognition. Khabib could pull a higher ppv nowadays. Behaving like a total jackass and writing it off as “bringing notoriety to the sport” is the only claim Conor fans have these days. He had a short string of entertaining fights. He won’t go down as a great, a unique entertainer, absolutely. Dude struck an old countryman cause he didn’t want his shitty whiskey. Money and fame does not bring peace in this world. Never forget.

You Stans claims Conor is holier than thou in every comment, buddy. You are bitching and whining about the smallest thing when it comes to fighters who beat your crush, We all know, Conor could shit on your face and you would brag about it, but don’t expect that other people won’t call him out for his bs. “Sensible comment” my ass, grow a damn spine, fangirl.

best thing about Conor was his mouth. he had the guy beat before they ever got in the cage. and he did cut a stupid amount. once Nate exposed Conor twice as being average fighter. its been down hill since. Conor is a first round man. Conor just needs to stop fighting and enjoy life.

They protected him, marketed the crap out of his personality, & he's Irish... The money went to his head and he believed his own hype. Khabib & Diaz gave him reality checks, Dustin 2 did his leg in. Now he's somewhere between a parody of his old self & a delusional mess thinking he can still hang with the big boys. His only hope for another title run is if his new titanium shin-bone is secret military grade, a weaponised sledgehammer
