What Conor does'nt understand is that Floyd did'nt fight him like he would have fought a Canelo, Manny, Sugar Shane, Juan Marquez etc because this was an exhibition and money grab!! If Floyd had really taken Conor seriously like he did professional boxers, Conor would have been obliterated in the first one to three rounds!! Floyd has never walked standing almost straight up with gloves against his head stalking his opponent. What do you mean? He said he didn’t feel Floyd’s skill but described it in detail. His boxing skill and iq are tied into his composure. His ability to adjust during a fight is a testament to his skill. Floyd usually uses his footwork, makes the opponent chase him around, sometimes laying on the ropes while throwing his check left hook, establishing the jab, occasionally throwing combos. Floyd didn’t do any of that instead he stood in front of him throwing mostly the straight right then covering up. If McGregor had hurt him, Floyd would’ve held him like he held Mosley in their fight. He took the shot and kept throwing. There was a body shot I thought hurt him but he worked his way out of that situation too. They should both be happy. Nine figure pay day for both

Also must consider, if this was mma, floyd wouldnt let u take his back as easily. He would be fairly prepared same as McGregor adjusting to boxing.
@mitchedwards13974 жыл бұрын
You will never see a rematch with MMA rules and regulations because everyone knows including Floyd I bet how badly he would get hurt. Even with the same amount of time to train and adjust the result would be the same. The second Connor sends his bare shin to the side of his face, if he ain't knocked out then I bet he would be tapping. And tbh that would be the least of his worries, once Connor takes him down which he could do whenever he wanted it would also be over for Floyd as there are just way too many different levels to MMA which you just couldn't prepare for in that amount of time vs someone as talented as Mcgregor. I'm not even a fanboy I'm glad Floyd won the boxing match but that's just the truth when it comes to rematch inside the octagon.

If anyone ever thought conner stood a chance against floyd in a boxing match, please go slap yourself right now. This is BOXING. 3 × 12 min rounds to do what u gotta do. What u saw was a 40 yo floyd walk down & school a younger fighter in hes prime who was naturally 20 pounds bigger. If u thought connor stood a chance, u either don't know anything about boxing or just started watching mma or have just got into these sports and are a casual. #FACTS#

Floyd didn’t even try. When I watched Showtime All Access, Floyd stopped heavy training like 3 weeks out. No road work, stopped sparring, and during the fight just stood in front of McGregor. Didn’t stick and move like he normally does. No check left hooks. Didn’t really establish his jab. Barely went to the body. No respect for McGregor’s boxing. McGregor just knows how to sell fights. Mayweather helped also by exaggerating Conor’s chances while downplaying his own. If he had smirked and said “come on only a handful of world class boxers were able to touch me let alone hurt me. I’m gonna carry him for about eight rounds then start bombing on him in the 9th” no one would’ve bought the ppv. He kept saying how he was old and he’s not the same fighter he was years ago. How McGregor was bigger and stronger. Lol he wore that ski mask for a reason. Popped up, robbed the public for $250 mil+, and got away. Brilliant by both men. Nine figure paydays for both.

lmao his “composure” is apart of his skill. He literally let Mcgregor throw hands at him for like the first 6 rounds. Mayweather made sure he didn’t make any big mistakes and from there finish it off when Mcgregor was gassed. Pure skill

Lol if Floyd boxed him he would’ve went down sooner. He could’ve stuck the jab while moving around, throwing combinations and working the body but he didn’t. Stood in front of him throwing one or two punches at a time. Floyd never fights like that. He had no respect for McGregor’s boxing

Floyd let Conor get those punches in because he had no respect for him and walked forward but I like McGregor and he did hurt Floyd with that body shot and I do think it was mostly fatigue that had him so wobbled but there was alot of time left in the round and he was getting hit without responding so fare play to the Ref for stopping it when he did.

4:38 this right here is what people need to hear. Mayweather knee that if McGregor had any chance to win it would be in the first 4-5 rounds so he literally let him take shots on him and absorbed them. Once Connor was fatigued was when he started taking over. Like he said that’s just experience

It was completely one sided. As predicted. Mayweather didn't even try that hard. Genius.
@Preshus4442 ай бұрын
Mayweather calculated that fight to a T. He gave us a show then wizzahzooped that azs. McGregor was completely exhausted and defenseless. No way he would have made it through 2 more minutes of them head shots. That was a great professional call from the ref, possibly added a few more years to McGregor’s life. 💯

Andrew Stannard I actually think he fought the real Floyd but with a different style. Floyd is usually looking to win on points and survive but in this fight he had to come forward or his legacy would be hurt a little. I’m just saying I think Conor did great. He gave Floyd Mayweather a good 10 rounds after 10 weeks of boxing experience. Imo it’s a bad look for mayweather. He had trouble putting away a 10 week amateur.
@andrewstannard83614 жыл бұрын
@@jamesbaka1206no disrespect, but if you think conor fought the real Floyd, you know absolutely nothing about boxing. In those 10 weeks Floyd didn't train more than 10 times, it was an entertainment fight,clearly your an mma fan, and you think this was real! 🤣🤣
