They assumed TJ was down, that he was a loyal soldier but TJ is neither loyal or at many times a clean fighter. TJ is all about TJ and he doesn’t give a FOOK what he has to do to be #1!! Normally I like that in my villains but I love MMA and I respect that these warriors put it all on the line so being a “little snake In the grass” is not at all what I want out of my fighters as a fan picking who to cheer and who to boo but yeah, Conor saw the snake for what he was. The others did not because they thought highly and respected TJ thinking he had morals but he had little to no morals! A real sleazy type of guy! Even hurting sparring partners in the gym to absolutely respecting no-one unless it suited him and his career in furthering it! A real ass-hat you wouldn’t want to wear

The best part of that Conor vs. TJ interaction is so slick I think even most people in the room didn't get it. Conor says "Congratulations to you and your coach Duane on the win" and TJ, completely unaware of it, says "Appreciate it". Conor just looks to Urijah with a subtle smile in return. Dillashaw unconsciously confirms that Ludwig now, as a matter of fact, is his coach and not Faber. Conor knew exactly what he was doing and TJ walked right into it LMAO

The foreshadowing in this season is insane, Conor calling out TJ for being a snake, Urijah saying Conor has no idea about business and then goes on to sell his whiskey brand for 600 million, the crap that was spoken about him and his coaching style to then go on and win the show. The McGregor era truly was something special

Yeah he says he's going to get paid 90-100 million for a future fight (like one or two years later he made just that with the Mayweather bout) and that he hates disloyalty and to never bite the hand that feeds you, and after Conor totally went out to get Artem on the show even after he lost Artem ended up suing him etc. Interesting!

The UFC is where it is thanks to McGregor. It's actually mind boggling how ONE man expanded and elevated the UFCs brand to where it is today. Granted Dana paved the way and allowed him to do it, but still. I feel sorry for younger or future fans who think the UFC has always been this huge entity. They went practically bankrupt to 4+ billion, sold, then were able to continue controlling the company same as before. Incredible

12:21 connor got a lot of flak for this speech but as he goes on you can tell he put a lot of thought into it and is trying his best to tell these guys the reality of the situation they are in. MMA is a brutal sport, a selfish sport, and it's a sport of ONE winner and one loser. The show is a platform and it's an opportunity and if you don't understand that then you are wasting it.

So weird to see how much Conor would do for Artem just for Artem to genuinely snake him. Betraying Conor's trust like that, after everything he done for you, is madness. All for a pile of cash that Conor had already offered to Artem.

@@TheBioBeast Artem tried to sue Conor for millions because Artem advised Conor to do the whisky deal. Conor offered a million to Artem at the time but Artem declined because they were good friends and Conor made Artem. Then Artem snaked Conor for money like 2 years later.

@@TheBioBeast It's very bizarre from Artem. Like if the friendship had ended for whatever reason, to then go back and sue Conor after Conor offered cash that Artem declined... its very snake-like behaviour. Anyway, Artem isn't very popular around Ireland now.

Connor is a genius of combat sports. He's spreading wisdom to his team. People forget that because of his crazy personality and because of the fact that he's a superstar. It ain't about that. He reached the top because he's a great fighter physically and mentally. What happened next is another conversation.
