Believe it or not, tuna and pasta is my first go to choice before those late night games I play! For enhanced flavour, I like adding a bit of salt, black pepper, onion powder along with olive oil and low fat cheese!

your last comments resonated with me. I came from higher div teams and now in an o35 team where I've conceded goals I've never due to weaker defence. In the back of my mind, I say, I wish I could cruise like I did with better teams but it feels like I need to give it my 110% even if it means to get the boys ready before every game. Tiring though... but needed

Definitely.. Can be tiring, but it's important to get yourself in that mindset, ready to go, and then transmit that to the team!

Quality content as usual, Conor! Also I recently saved two penalties in the finals of a 7-a-side inter-school tournament, against our biggest rivals. Conor I'm not sure if you can help, I feel that with long range shots, I don't seem to either dive at the right time or if I'm not placing myself right, any advice?

I know I’m not Connor and this answer isn’t the best but what helped me a lot was practicing them, I would get with 2 or 3 of my friends and would literally have then shoot from range and from different angles and over time i just felt more comfortable being able to time and read the shot alot better

@@8xplicit that was my intention as well, it's just none of my friends really play soccer, so yeah they can kick a ball at me but it's like only going straight 😅

Practice definitely helps, like Gian said. Start with just facing shots from distance, then start to add in defenders when you can, to practice your positioning & trying to get a good sight of the ball. Think also about your depth in the goal, - maybe look to be a bit deeper (closer to the line) to give yourself a bit more reaction time!
