Great seeing the old bus liveries, the orange ones are sharing the roads with the new lime-greens. I wish they'd bring back either...don't like the new yellow/blue.

The Quays alongside Temple Bar were very rustic at that time.. Buses were still being parked in the middle of Temple Bar Square, nice red brick enclosures.. Plenty of change soon enough..

I got so bladdered on Bloomsday 1984 that I stood on the middle of that bridge hanging on to the railings for an hour.

This couldn't have been 1983. The traffic is still going up Ormond Quay in this video. The quays reversed in August 1982, so this video has to be then or before it!

His name was Eamonn MacThomais. He died in 2002.
