Man I know exactly how you feel. I can't go to fisherman pier anymore in conowingo yes it is soooo full . I have been having much better luck at Turkey point at the Harbor Boat ramp next to the camp grounds. At dusk all hell breaks loss and the big boys come out to eat. Today we got 6 and I had a 30+ pounder just up to the rocks and he flipped out of the water and snap my line. Man I was mad . The others are 5lbs 9lbs 15lbs 20lbs and 2 little guys .

I didn't catch the monster. a fellow fishermen caught it accidentally. He snagged it n the tail using a paddletail bait while fishing for Rockfish.

I went there and fished an entire 7 inch white perch cut slits in it and threw it out and brought in a 60lb blue catfish . This was June 2022 , I was with my 2 brothers and they 💩 their pants. We also got a couple 30lb ones as well. We was only using cut white perch that I caught previously and froze. Those flat head and blue cats love other fish. Chicken breast will work to for them but not as good

Hey Greg. I can only imagine the excitement!!Smh. was this on a boat or from the shore? If so, what shoreline locations would you suggest? I've been trying even through the winter, but no success. Hard to fish at the Dam because bottom fishing is nearly impossible. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

a lot of people dont understand that there is a method to fishing heavy fished areas next to other fishermen. i fish my dam when the water is on for stripers and we all cast in synchronicity and rel the same, you have to be a set distance apart as well. its not for everyone and anyone who hates fishing around others should try and afford a sit on top or boat for these time

Why would you keep that? Meat's pretty nasty on a fish that big. Asians use it at their restaurants.

I gave it to a neighbor who loves Catfish. They said it was very good in taste. I guess the way they seasoned and prepared it made a difference. I agree, I wouldn't eat catfish that big.
