Just there last week. The first day in Epcot we just did the virtual queue. Once we loved it we rebooked our day from animal kingdom to Epcot to ride it again. We did virtual queue and ALSO bought the lightning lane to ride it twice in one day. The best coaster I’ve ever been on!! Wish we could do virtual queue twice in one day though, that would be awesome

That is exactly what we did! First day at Epcot we got VQ, then a few days later we got both. On the second day at first it didn’t show our VQ went through so we quickly got a LL, but then the VQ popped up with a boarding group so we had both!

I agree- amazing ride!! Although I know people who did it once and done- to much motion sickness- I however did not have that issue! I’ve been on it 6 times and cannot wait to go again! We also did buy and did a virtual-each time in park- ( AP) I just wish they would do virtual for all the big rides - I haven’t been on Rise since they had virtual que! And I refuse to wait 2 hours for a ride and have it go down lol

@M G The first time our VQ call back was projected to be about 1:00, but it was ready closer to 12:30. On another day we scored both a paid LL at 9:30am, and also a VQ at about 2:30pm. In all cases this was done at 7:00am. I have heard the second round of VQ usually begins call backs in the very late afternoon and then all the way until closing. Hope that helps. BTW: The best way to get a VQ at 7:00am is to set your party in advance (we did it the day before at about 10pm, but at least get it done by 6:30am). Then have the app open and ready to go, you can select Guardians before 7:00 am and it takes you to another page in the app the says “At 7:00am either refresh this page (by pulling down) or select the “Join” button at the bottom. But the tip is have another phone going with a clock that has a second hand (we used our Apple Watch) and when it gets to 6:59 and about 56 seconds… Do it then because it takes about 3 - 4 seconds to reload!

I was there that day! I walked past you as you were filming in front of the starblaster but I’m shy and I didn’t want to bother you. I got boarding group 5 that morning! Also, thanks to your videos on Genie+ I was able to stack LL’s and get every ride we wanted during our vacation stress free

I personally think that One Way or Another is a great song that is super fun and moves really well with the ride. I have only rode once but that is the song I got and I thought it fit so smoothly for who the guardians are and kept it lively!

A very easy ride to get a virtual que for and lightning lane, I have seen lightning lanes available for purchase up until the early afternoon and the virtual line has been very easy so far as well

We got September when we got to ride it on our trip! We only rode it once, but it’s on my “must do” list when we go back. Side note: I get motion sickness in cars. Last trip, a few of the rides got me. So I took Dramamine when I knew I would need it. I got off Cosmic Rewind and was a little dizzy. My balance was off like I had spun 50 times in a row, but it was gone after a minute or two. That was it!

We bought the individual LL and loved that we got to pick a time and we only waited 10 min before entering the first shows of the ride. We ended up getting VQ two other days and although free, you never know what time you’ll get and once you get a VQ number, the time to return can vary through the day. Another con against VQ is that each time we got in line, we waited at least an or more.

By far the best ride ever! I bought LL for our group and rode, then hit the virtual que at 1 to ride again and then used my sons LL because he was too scared to ride it with his dad.

The key to not getting motion sick is to always look in the direction that the car is going. You are tempted to look around at all of the screens, but I think that is what is making people sick.

Lightning is tough to get. The virtual is a slightly less long way to wait but you will be in line for about 45 min

The earliest boarding group that I have gotten (for any ride) was for Remy's sometime in October 2021, I got boarding group 2! Was definitely not expecting that lol

My wife and I were there in early/mid June and we got to ride it twice. We each booked one as soon as possible (we were staying on property) and the boarding groups definitely went way faster. Our paid ride was at like 9:30 and our boarding group didn't get called until about 6pm

I was not staying at Disney today, I was actually at Royal Pacific. I woke up early and booked my boarding group, estimated time 10:55 AM. Afterwards, at 7:05AM a button showed up saying Upgrade to a 9:00am Lightning Lane for $14 per guest.

I think it is so easy to ride this ride. But I live here and do it all the time lol. I did VQ and LL before because I wanted to ride it twice. LL has been available for a long time, and even the 1pm que has been open for a half hour after! 😱 I still get up at 7am and refresh to make sure I get it , but I think the load and unload of this ride is faster, it doesn't go down as much as ROTR, also I think people are scared to ride this ride. Also as long as your group has been called you can get in line even if hours late... that had been my experience. But thanks for the video! I am going to share this to friends who are traveling here soon. 😁

I am curious about trying to get it when flying in. At 7am on my Epcot day I will be boarding a plane in Charlotte. I am concerned that this would be the one time I actually get an early time slot. I don’t want it earlier than 11. Would hate to loose it! I am going to hope the 1pm time works out.

We rode this on one of the first days it was open. Even saw Molly at Universal one of the days we were there. Wanted to say hi like a fanboy, but didn’t. Question tho! When we rode it, the song was “Ain’t No Mountain High”…did they change the 6 songs?

Is the rule about being in Epcot for the 1:00 virtual queue GPS based? For example would being on the Epcot monorail going through the park at 1pm count if you're park hopping? You haven't officially entered the park, but you are within the boundaries of the park. And obviously the timing on this would have to be precise

You have to have scanned in to Epcot at some point already that day, so if you are park hopping into Epcot you cannot get a virtual queue since you can’t enter until 2. If you don’t have a reservation for Epcot, ILL is your only option 😌

You can only reserve a spot in the virtual queue if you have a park reservation for Epcot that day. You can get it at 7am from anywhere or INSIDE the park at 1pm but you can’t park hop until 2pm so it’s physically impossible to be inside Epcot for 1pm unless you start your day there. If you park hop Epcot after 2pm you’re only option is to buy the Lightning Lane because there in no walk-up line right now.

I’ll give this a go: Cosmic Rewind does not have a regular standby queue like nearly every other attraction. You can join the virtual queue at either 7am or 1pm. The 7am queue can be joined from anywhere, but for the 1pm queue you must physically be at Epcot to join the queue. In addition on certain nights and only if you are a deluxe resort guest they have a 3rd queue opening at 6pm. Once you successfully enter the queue using the MDE app, you will be assigned a “boarding group”. As the day goes on groups will be called. Once your group is called, you have 1hr to return to the attraction to ride it. Also yes, you can have a Genie + reservation for Cosmic Rewind since this attraction is not on Genie+ you either need to do the Virtual Queue or you buy a fancyride (tm). Hope this helps and sorry for the long wall of text.

The ride actually does do a full rotation at one point but it’s not a fast full rotation so you might not realize it. It’s about 3/4 of the way through before the moon section! But like I said it’s not fast so you don’t realize it.

I was able to book Guardians with a virtual queue and a LL for frozen but then was put on a two hour cool down at 7am. Couldn’t book another LL until 10:25am. I didn’t realize the queue would could as one of my LL. Completely missed Remy’s bc of this.

The queue does not count as a Lightning Lane. You can only have one Genie+ Lightning Lane at a time (unless you wait the two hour cool down). Its the Individual Lightning Lanes (not included in Genie+) that you can book two of. I know it's confusing!

I was there 4 days ago and rode it for the first time.. first of all I feel terrible for putting my 5 year old in that. Lmaoo and also I had to close my eyes! I saw nothing and heard nothing .. Yes! If you have an Epcot park pass you can book your LL for anytime. If you have a pass for another park, you’ll only be able to book a time starting at 2pm - when park hopping starts. It will redirect you to 2pm when you open the app at 7am

So, hear me out.. Let's say you miss 7am virtual boarding so you book the fancy ride for 3 people. At 1pm, you try for virtual again and you're able to book it! Is there a way to cancel the paid option, or even the virtual option to open for someone else? (yes i realize you can just ride it twice) 2nd scenario: You book for 3 people (regardless if paid or virtual), but later, the 3rd person isn't feeling well and doesn't want to ride. Then what?

I’m very prone to motion sickness, and usually just skip what I know I can’t do (teacups, star tours, mission space) but I can’t skip Guardians. I’ve taken bonine every time I’ve ridden it and not had any issues. I’m afraid to ride it without taking something though 😬
