I just took my manual driving test today in Queensland, Australia and passed on my first attempt with only 5 minor errors, none of which were gear or clutch related and I owe it to you Mr Richard! For the last month, I have watched and re-watched your videos on learning to drive manual and cannot express my gratitude for how helpful and informative each one has been. The attention to detail and explanations are second to none, so much so that in just 1 month and without having a single driving lesson with an instructor, I learnt how to drive manual and passed my test today on my first attempt! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge to drivers both young and old, experienced to inexperienced! We all appreciate it greatly 😊

Understanding how clutch works mechanically makes the whole thing clear. To simply say, taking off quickly depends how fast you release the quick. The more gas you give, the more quickly you can release your clutch.

That little bit on boggin down really helped me diagnose why it was even happening in the first place. Initially I gave plenty of gas but as soon as I brought the clutch to the bite point I would for some reason start to lessen the amount of throttle I gave, which caused me to constantly bog down... Thanks for the vids now I can finally have my friends drive in my car without me feelin' embarrassed about how bad I was driving.

@ConquerDriving4 жыл бұрын
Agreed. I think I did say that. Gas is potential, clutch is how much you use.
@nabilhmidouch20193 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't use ''it would be easier'' and ''if that makes sense'' in one sentence. This just goes to show why we need more sentences explaining how it works. Plus, if you listened carefully Richard has said the exact same thing at 05:51 . Cheers!
@boulevard14 Жыл бұрын
@nabilhmidouch2019 There's nothing wrong with the sentence, although it could from benefit from a dash before "if that that makes sense". But it's KZbin comments, it really doesn't matter.
@ariassingh4625 ай бұрын
@@boulevard14You completely missed his point. It’s not the structure of the sentence, it’s that ‘it would be easier to explain as…’ and ‘if that makes sense’ are contradictions. Clearly it’s not an easier explanation if he’s having difficulty in conveying it.
