As a note for maximising family size, the roll for a baby boy or girl is done the day before it's born iirc. So you can re-load that day until its a boy (or twins) and then get a wife from marriage. It'd be interesting to see how many family members people can get.

Had already done this type of campaign, but last video made me want to give it another go. Currently at the stage where the first few children have grown up and the party can go against 150 enemies without my help. They grow so fast... Biggest challenge is finding cool names for all of them.

Context: haven’t played M&B warband in a few years. Seen bannerlord on game pass and said “f##k it” -downloaded bannerlord -creates character -gets captured -restarts new character -dies in battle -restarts again -manages to accumulate small fortune and fiefs -gets captured while siegeing -restarts again -current campaign -decided to make a kingdom after many hours of game time and commitment. -declares war on vlandia because they are already warring LITERALLY EVERYONE else -aserai declare war -calm -sturgia declares war -some panic -battania declares war -absolute panic -believe me when I say I tried to fight them off -but I only had me and my family as fighters. -decided that I would be better off abdicating leader and just destroying the kingdom -massive debt, crippled numbers, fiefs gone, and I lost all the prosperity my towns had smh. 10/10 would do it all again tho. I had almost all of vlandia gone because of rebellions and I lost it all because of my greed. FYI: I’m still playing on that character because she is my favourite so far, good family, nice set-up and all I need now is more man power so let the breeding commence.

I’ve been watching countless KZbinrs playing this game since before it came out on console and I love the game. But I always get stuck in mid/late game. I start my own empire and have no clue where to go from there. I’ve maxed out necessary skills for myself as well as companions, started having kids, developing my town. But I have no clue what to do following all that. Do you have any tips?? It would be much appreciated. And I love your videos. It’s very humorous to see you do the put thing. I try to do it as much as I can defending my towns/castles.

When creating a kingdom you need a lot of gold to pay off some kingdoms that declare war on you. Then you need gold to bribe clans into defecting from their kingdom to joining yours. Most clans won't even consider it, but clans without any fiefs will almost always consider it. The amount you pay is based on a few things, but I think it's mostly based on your clan relations, and their kingdom strength (and if they have 0 fiefs).

Question: With Patch 1.10 - i Startet a new Campaign and there is now an new Option/Checkbox "Death an Birth" - which I can not switch after Start. I'm 10 Ingame Years long an see some Wanderers died. Will my Party Companions also die? I disable Death für all Heros - but is is for my Wanderers too?

Yes they will die, but usually after they hit 60 years old as there is a bigger chance they will die. I think each hero can die of old age when they hit 50 (not sure the specific age), and the probability they will die of old age increases the more they age. So it's very unlikely they will die at 50-59 years old, but once they are all over 60, expect many of them to drop. Of course there are instances where some can live to an absurdly long time, like a 100 years.

Hi, although it's over a year, is there someone that knows why every Lords, even when greatly outnumbering me, retreat after a few waves (even less) when I'm in a defensive siege? I always fight outnumbered, as to strategize more and having a more rewarding experience, so I'm usually on 1:2/1:3 minimum. In SDs, that scale is even higher at times. However, after killing/knocking down 100 like soldiers, out of about 1500/2000+, the enemy and their leaders just surrender, as if completely defeated. It happens quicker when i destroy all of their siege machines during the battle, or after a few repulsed waves anyway. It's taking away the fun out of a prolonged defensive fight that should last quite a while, and making me take tactical decisions over time as my troops gets more and more damaged/ exhausted, for a quick skirmish as if i was just training against looters. I noticed it started to happen frequently after the last update, but I'm not completely sure it's because of something directly related to it.

One cool variant might be to have companion clans instead of recruiting clans to the cause.

I had a couple of those but they only had like two members each and they were sometimes bugged, where the companion lord would not appear in calradia in their own party for a very long time.

@@Mr.Chicken Might be because they lack money. I always give the companion clans some starting money. Always give a town as well so that they have some sustainable income. A tier 2 clan, which is what the companion clan is, can only support 1 party at a time. They do level up and a tier 3 clan can support another party. They can be given a castle on top of their town, but that's it. That gives them 1 Governor for the town, 1 Governor for the Castle, and 1 party leader, since they start with the companion and 2 additional nobles. Then as they reach tier 3, they can support another party. By then there will have been marriages and their spouses can either be Governor or party leader.

I'm currently trying this out. My companions just don't seem to be such good archers even though their bow skill is already 200 and keeps going up as I train them. Especially if I let them charge as horse archers I just end up having most of the kills. I've bought them the best equipment I can atm, mostly T6 armor and noble bows but they struggle against shields and get obliterated if they go into melee. I have the respec mod so I turbo leveled their bow, riding, athletics and weapon skills but they just seem useless to me lol

you need to use tactics. Making them just charge will make them die. go on a hill, one line loose formation, split it into two and flank the enemy. You need to get all of their athletics past 275 for the mightly blow perk which gives them a lot more HP.

I didn't make a kingdom until the very end. If you have fiefs and you are not in any kingdom, nobody can wage war on you. Only you can start wars. Although prepare to pay a one time tribute of like 100-200k unless you completely destroy the other faction

in battle loot, sometimes you get "lordly" armor which is much better than non lordly armor. But the biggest thing is the perks for each companion. At the end, most had over 200 total HP and perks that reduced incoming damage and made them better archers, cavalry, infantry everything.

yeah i basically did this with children... and the hot butten mod. the early game was essentially, ehh. getting graped... a lot. then with a rediculess army of my children i took all of calradia.
