Conquering Kyrgyzstan's Mountains of Heaven: A Backpacking Adventure

Hope you like my Travelogs! ♡ Here’s my 1-week itinerary in Kyrgyzstan to help you plan your next trip! 🤸
ITINERARY
DAY 1:
From Manas International Airport, Drive for about 7-8hrs to Karakol
Walked around Karakol to see their Bazaar, Dungan Mosque and parks
Dinner at Hotel 78 (love the steak!) / hotel_78_cafe
Stayed at a family owned B&B at guest house (10 mins walk from Karakol Bazaar)
DAY 2:
After Breakfast, drive from Karakol town to Ak-Suu Village (trailhead)
Started trekking from Ak-Suu Village to Altyn-Arashan Camp (4-5 hrs)
After lunch at the camp, Ascent the Altyn-Arashan natural hot springs
Overnight in tent with the view of the snow on Peak Palatka (Tent) 5260 m or “Swallow’s Nest Pool”, nestling beneath the open sky
DAY 3:
After early breakfast, take a horse and ride up to the Keldike start point of hiking trail (about 3 hours of horse riding)
From Keldike you will leave your horse and start climbing to the Ala-Kol pass, from where you will see Ala-Kol lake
Lunch at the Keldike basecamp then descend back to Altyn-Arashan Camp
DAY 4:
After breakfast at Altyn-Arashan Camp, trek back to Ak-Suu village
From Ak-suu village drive back to Karakol

DAY 5:
After breakfast, drive from Karakol to Jeti-Oguz Gorge (Seven Bulls Rock)
Skazka Canyons (Fairy Tale Canyon)
Eagle hunters home
Stayed at Bel-Tam Yurt Camp by the Issykul Lake in Bokonbaevo village www.booking.co...
DAY 6:
After Breakfast, Drive 4hrs from Bokonbaevo to Bishkek
Stayed at Silkroad Guest House in Bishkek: www.booking.co...

DAY 7:
Walk around the capital of Kyrgyzstan - Bishkek, checkout the Love Lake and Bishkek Bazaars for shopping!
Dine at Navat Restaurant and try their Besh Barmak and Boorsok (Small dumpling bread), IT’S MY FAVORITE!!! navat.kg/en/
