Conquering Shuswap Ultra | From Struggle to Triumph

Freedom. Curiosity. Doggedness. A ticket to the iconic Andes Mountains.
No matter their reason for toeing the line at the Shuswap Ultra in late June, 100 runners had the courage to tackle the 120KM or 60KM routes on the rugged trails of Salmon Arm and Sicamous in British Columbia, Canada. The Project Peak event saw two runners from each course earn their way to El Cruce in December 2023.
Congratulations to Ihor Verys and Saucony Canada's own Ailsa MacDonald, finishing first in the 120KM event, as well as Michelle Reddy and Tristan Hoekstra, who took top honors in the 60KM.
And to all Shuswap Ultra runners, cheers to your tenacity and strength of will. Every journey takes courage.
