Great video sir! I began running in March this year right before my 66th birthday. I haven’t looked back. I also have low arches on my feet but CURREX insoles have done wonders for me! Keep running young man, I hope to still be running for many years to come!

I bet if I had flat feet and had trouble running, I bet I'd have been turned off on a lot of sports. Being a little chubby in my early teens, I remember my first run around the block with intention. I ran again today 32+ years later. Same block. With many miles behind me from over the years. I get a lot out of the state change. I have a couple stopping points on my run, which I'll crank out about 40 pushups and some other small core work, then back to the run. I couldn't care less about marathons, though I do like 5ks for participation and it just so happens to be on the longer side of most runs I've ever done. I did a 7K once. And I didn't get much more out of it than the 5k to be honest. But there are some things that make a big difference for me. Maybe for you too? Run the woods and the grass and the hills whenever you can. And run backwards up hills too. Mix it up. Run like you're driving animals out of the woods to feed the village. Pavement only when absolutely necessary. I'd take a gravel road over pavement any day. Thankfully flatland existed for the both of us Terry. That shot of your family at 2:33 is super cute. A quick but priceless glimpse of so much to be grateful for don't you think?
