Conquering the Rapids - Kolad White Water Rafting - Kundalika River Rafting - Marathi Adventure Vlog

One morning in January, we left on the bike because we wanted to start our new year with an adventure road trip. While relishing the sunset views of Mulashi Dam and the mountains, we rode towards Tamhini Ghat from Pune. We descended the winding roads through the dense forest of western ghats and reached Capital Hill Resort.
After dinner, we danced around the campfire for a while. Early morning, we ventured out to explore the Javathe village.
We left our belongings at the hotel and boarded an auto to reach the starting point of Kundalika River Rafting. The Kundalika River was still low when we arrived at the starting point, as the dam water had not yet been released.
Soon the place was filled with river rafts, equipment, instructors, and adventure enthusiasts excited about the activity. Armed with life jackets and helmets, we started paddling our raft over the gushing water released from Rawalje Dam.
Initially, while passing through moderate rapids, we enjoyed fun activities guided by our instructor. And then we started rafting on the turbulent flow of the river, hitting the rapids with all our might. Our raft bounced over the ferocious white water avoiding the bare stone boulders carefully.
After navigating grade 3 rapids, Rajadhani Express, and Johnny Walker, it was time to enjoy the scenery around us. In the end, we jumped into the river and enjoyed swimming for a while, before taking the ores again.
