Brago's main drawback is that he's one of those "so good he's bad" commanders. You cant build a nice, quiet EDH deck to abuse a couple of silly ETB triggers without the entire table screeching like that one scene from Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Same with Sen Triplets, Momir Vig, and Derevi. You either win by turn 5, or end up so hated out of the game youre not having fun. Its always "kill him so the 3 of us can actually enjoy a nice game of magic" regardless of how casual you made the deck intentionally.

I play brago for things with prizes and only that cause otherwise in casual play you just get instant focused.

Gosh is so true if you are not playing super competitive than dont even play him because when you grab them with the rishadan trio by turn 2 or 3 they quit or hate u and never invite u to play again but you can make it friendly if you focus tokens and not alot of hate like stasis and a lot of returns or any kind of fuckery available i also dont run infinite mana/turns combo because bro you will be banned and they will def never talk to you if by turn 3 you mill the players or take all the turns to kill everyone with commander dmg 2 at a time lmao anyway brago is still my favorite ill take the hate anytime lolz

I recently found you're channel looking for a Marchesa deck tech. So far i really enjoy the content you put out, the sound quality is top notch, and you're voice is naturally nice to listen to. As for content I think it would be cool to see some 4 to 5 player commander games and maybe do a tiny leaders deck tech. Other then that keep up the good work.

+Comred22 Thank you so much for the kind words! I just managed to record a few three player paper games with some buddies. I'm going to start editing those soon, but in the mean time I'll definitely try and record a few multiplayer games online. I never got into the Tiny Leaders format. I'll see if I can do some research on it and maybe make a video, but all of my experience has been either in Modern (Twin, Grixis Delver, and Soul Sisters) or EDH.

I am working on a Brago commander right now. The forewarning about the late game is quite useful. Thanks. I'm going with a version running much of the spirit tribal protection from new Innistrad (Rattlechains and Selfless Spirit). Never thought about the difficult untap cards. Might put a couple in if I can get them. Informative video.

I think Brago can be the most powerful EDH deck available for around $50. Lots of great suggestions from the comments below. Another that I didn't see mentioned, if you want to go further down the stax rabbit hole, is Tezz the Seeker. With a clear Brago attack path, you can neg Tezz to grab Tangle Wire, hit, blink Tezz, then neg again for Static Orb. Dis-gus-ting. Otherwise, along with mana rocks, I'll run the three allowable artifact lands to let him do a nice Garruk Wildspeaker impression.

Well, definitely a little more Planechase. Maybe experiment a little with homemade sub genres of EDH. As far as deck building goes, I've always wanted to see what can be done with Bant clones, because clone tokens and populate needs to be tried out. Finally I want to say thanks for making all your videos and what's coming in the future. I don't get to play magic, let alone EDH, and seeing a play by play every week gives me such satisfaction. Good job

'manders I'd like to see: * Braids, Conjurer Adept: Mainly because I have no idea what to do with her. I've seen other people play her and they have no idea either. I've tried running her as mono-blue artifact combo, but usually get slapped down. * Hanna, Ship's Navigator - Obviously, she's good with UW artifacts and enchantments, but now what? I've built her as extremely tedious Stax, which sorta wins, but no fun. I'm sure there's more I could do with her. * Yisan, the Wanderer Bard - Everybody talks about how broken he is; what am I missing? * Brion Stoutarm - This guy's always intrigued me, and I have him because he's one of the few RW generals that aren't all about the aggro. I'm tempted to try him as a combo commander, but so far haven't started. * Jaya Ballard, Task Mage - For when you look around the playmats and see everybody else running blue. OK, obviously you want recurring stuff / card advantage, but now what? * Shu Yun, The Silent Tempest - I've had this guy forever, and outside of being a Jeskia guy who's not Narset, I've never figured out how to use him. * Alesha, Who Smiles at Death: Your channel is incomplete without her. She just rocks, one of my all-time favorites.

may i suggest rishadan creatures (footpad and brigand)? I play him more stax so i do run geddon and the like and i also have a bunch of more artifact ramp for early on ( i think i run 15+ artifact ramp ) . so i empty my hand and then i use wheels to renew it till i hit critical mass on board and then destroy lands . also cloudform lightform and anything that manifests is great with brago since u dont really care what u manifest with it ( you will be blinking it anyway :)) ) . even if u dont wanna go more staxy the manifest mechanic is of great value to this deck.keep it up ! i love comander material

+1 Sub dude, gj. I'd love to see more Karador stuff if you wouldn't mind, especially some niche picks you'd use in that style commander deck or just straight up games with him. Perhaps even some less than common strategies just in general (pun haha) with your videos 'cause its always fun to stand out by copying an EDH deck you found on the internet.

Nice video! I played against a Brago deck abusing sun titan. Not that special since the meta at my LGS has sun titan in every white deck. Could you provide a guide to making a mana base for three and five colors?

i like brago, but i also see the problem with every commander who is so good and has no protection: he will get hate every time. i play ephara, god of polis as my commander and it is also build as blink deck.for a brago deck i would recommend all possible planeswalkers because you can use them twice with the brago trigger :)

I kind of agree with that sentiment for all commander decks that are built heavily around their commander. Brago does have the benefit of being able to counter removal though.

MTG Muddstah I seen your zurgo video made me want to make one an you said you don't like voltRon decks, what exactly do you like? I used to run a very mean zur the enchanter deck but he got so boring lol but unfortunately I have the same problem with edric all I do with it is ramp an throw out Hugh creatures an things of that nature. I just find it plays too linearly. Play creature equip, swing. If player dead, repeat. If creature dead, cast new creature, equip, repeat.
