Conqueror 8 Player NOMAD FFA in a... MAZE in AOE4?

Everyone else was playing regular nomad ffa, green was playing outback octagon running around and moving units in transport ships

i had the opposite opinion of green. he didnt really do anything and hid for an hour then only at the end made a bunch of rams to screw over one player. watching him just wasnt fun because while yes he "survived" he never really played to win.

_"while yes he survived he never really played to win"_ You can win with a huge variety of styles and strategies, but you just can't win if you do not survive. So struggling to survive is inevitably the most essential part of a "play to win".

​@@dom7899 His start location was tough, near to pink with no gold when purple can come to attack him from back at any moments. After bad start in FFA when 7 players see the score and know you weak it almost impossible to stay alive so he must run away all the time and couldnt really do anything in the first hour other than stay alive. I didnt think he played very good he never realy used his bounty abilty or build 5 TC to comeback until the end for axemple, but i absolutly prefer this style of game on someone that quit after he lose his first landmark.

@@AvielW i think ya misunderstood me, i also dont like when players give up after losing a landmark or having a bad start. I quite enjoyed purple from the dia FFA before this. Purple however felt like he was atleast always trying to recover and win. green here had a really messed up opening that even beasty thought he was trolling and then did nothing all game. There were plenty of points where he coulda hid somewhere and pumped vils to try to make a comeback but instead he just kept trying to do a sneaky landmark snipe with no units in an FFA... even if he managed to succeed with it he wouldnt win because there is several other players who are much bigger (looking at score) and it just wouldnt work. on your point about his spawn. after he saw his spawn he coulda just packed up and moved too, since ya know... he made a bunch of scouts at start and saw a ton of the map. Again though its just my OPINION, i didnt like watching green in this ffa, but other people might have and thats okay. we both allowed to voice our opinions

Green lived up to his name! Kanki was a general who seemed to troll and confuse his enemies but his objective was always focused on winning the long game in an unexpected manner

I love playing 2v2v2v2. It usually is 1 hr long or short too because once 2 teams beat another it is just a 2v2 and wonder or sacred happens.

I understood why green played like that, he planned to stay out of sight of the other players who didn't see him as a threat, he did well but having destroyed yellow's base instead of destroying the orange wonder's was very sad

Towards some time in the last third of his streams, if he has it written in his twitch title that one will be happening that day, you can sign up for the ffa when he decides it is tike for it. The twitch chat command to sign up is then explained by Beasty. It is for the specified 1v1 rank only. So if he specifies gold ffa, silvers, platinum etc. are not accepted. You do need to be an active player on the 1v1 ranked ladder in the current season, so not only the 5 games for placement. He checks the match details of players to filter out likely smurfs or those not active enough in current season in his book. If you are accepted into the 8 players doing the ffa, you will be invited to the lobby and asked to: disable, unsubscribe and delete all of your mods. Your civs will be selected in order usually and set on your merry way. After some time has passed he begins casting as observer and all players in ffa are timed out from twitch chat until they've been eliminated in the stream as well, so as to not spoil anything for the viewers.

Anyone that thinks Delhi has a fair chance is lying. When do you see Delhi beating English at a high level on a regular basis? When do you see Delhi beating any civ on any map on a regular basis? They've been getting shafted every update since the beginning. It is a 3-star difficulty civ and it has serious disadvantages. What is the point of having difficulty to civs if the easiest ones are the strongest?? It should be the opposite, or they should all be equal...I'm convinced the devs would rather have ppl w/ 50/50 win rates rather than see certain ppl excel at what they attempt to master. Over time they've made stone towers/walls basically obsolete, as well as keeps recently, which seriously effects some civs more than others, (like the delhi). It's honestly a joke...Any Delhi player has to play a full league ahead in skill just to maintain against an English player. That's just using English as an example, then you have HRE, which is only a two star civ, equally as hard of a counter. Now Rus and Abbassid are crazy strong. China late game, strong as always...Where is the Delhi? Left to have to fight for SS's, relics, berries, basically the entire map, all while maintaining a perfect economy and fending off any raids...I dare any dev of this game to climb from bottom to conqueror using Delhi ONLY. If you can't...something is wrong with ur game! And if you can, youtube it, cause I gotta see it.
