Great video. Something I think is worth mentioning is scouts have campfire now. Nice to put near stone and gold for raiding 👍. Even if they kill it, extra macro and time wasted for vils early game.

What's good Drongo, been playing around with some AoK rushes and to be honest the tempo you get out of it feels super strong early. My duo pairs it with something like HRE with good fast castle and we've been stomping.

Could you do some build orders for the team ranked ladder? Ive been facing an English-order of the dragon early aggression combo that I would appreciate a counter build to preferably using ayyubids or ottomans paired with byzantines

Adding to english first minute, Rallying first villager to build a house and a mining camp (Que in). Then Second villager to the mining camp achieves the exact same result. Both villagers will end up building the mining camp together and both will mine gold at the same time. This method is very slightly easier on micro than the video.

About the king there is weird bug that I encountered twice already, where king attack vil with sword, and does 0 damage. So you definitely need watch him over in fight!

this build actually works on diamond. I don't know how. Doesn't work on some civs, but my opponents mostly don't know how to just go for fast castle.

What is the worry about exhausting your sheep early? Is each sheep worth x amount of food? I’m sure I’m wrong. What is the benefit of continuing to have a stream of food over consuming the sheep and using the villagers to accomplish a different task?

feels like english abey of kings into fast castle kind of meta.. ayubbids no2.. once this landmark becomes the meta i'd expect nerf on the healing

Yeah, I thought about maybe nerf on armor in Feudal, then increase it back to normal at castle but, ultimately, nerfing healing instead to maybe 1.5 per second or 2 per 1.5 seconds is probably simpler and makes more sense. Perhaps a later stage upgrade at the landmark could increase healing?

@@YouSauce3315 you only have 1 unique unit coming from that landmark.. its good as it is .. (when i say nerf healing i mean from the landmark, not the king).. cuz 6 heal/s (if i remember correctly) is kinda crazy .. but hey maybe king healing nerf makes more sense

Its not too op to be honest..its just a single knight for harass... just make a couple of spears.. I know it slows you down a bit, but its nothing vs the Ottoman Death ball last patch...

Correct, hold shift while clicking to queue, helpful to queue a walk to the inside area of a wall you want to build as well 👉

I would think early horsemen because you can harrass and chase the King and even do some raiding later since their attention is divided between King and base. I could be wrong.

It's the same as playing against the French: make a barracks and have atleast 1-2 spearman by 4m 30s.

now that they have changed the abbey into what it should have been in the first place i.e. a quick pressure landmark with a cav based english build. They should turn the council hall into a defensive landmark to complement the abbey. My thoughts were make the council hall spawn free longbow (or other ranged) and have them come out at half the speed instead of double. Maybe give the first one for free to fight off a tower rush or something

Drongo can you tell the devs that in nomad mode the King needs to become a mounted Knight that ages up age by age and is a hero character basically of insane power and buffs (nomad only does this) and that if he dies you lose instantly. But if you bring him into battle he is a healing hub plus a tower aura doubler plus insane hp pool plus can be right cicked as a reinforcements appear besides him thing
