As a GameStop employee... We've seen an uptick in series x stick drift issues. Not nearly as bad as with the PS5 controllers though. If you want first party and wireless, spend the coin and get an elite series. We rarely see issues with them. Or, if you are playing on a desk wuth a monitor, wired is the way to go. The wolverine from razr is the most comfortable controller I've used. the victrix gambit is so responsive it's twitchy. And I've been hearing good about the rig/nacon wires pro controller.

I’ve personally noticed the xbox one controllers are less prone to get stick drift. I’ve owned three xbox one controllers and they’ve all lasted me a good 5+ years with regular use each. On the other hand, I’ve owned two controllers from the series s/x era and they both got stick drift within a year.

What's really really funny...is my N64 controller from the 1990s is in better condition than these Series X controllers I think instead of buying a 4th controller I'm going to get an elite controller. They have a lifetime warranty on issues like this. It'll be the last one I ever have to buy

@@DerkaGamesThe 2nd Generation of the xbox Elite controllers are definitely worse then the first generation, the build quality is poor world wide especially regarding stick drift & Rb-Lb what I’ve done is buy a replacement guarantee with a shop here in the Uk called “Currys” which has replaced my controllers whenever i’ve taken them back Hopefully you have the equivalent in your country Microsoft launched the slightly cheaper white version of the elite controller to address the problems but i haven’t used them so cant comment Lastly stick drift will happen no matter what eventually key is having the right cover to replace it

Great video as always man. Al nelson al hood and Fischer are great for conquerer. I mostly switched to Fischer for all my British bbs I prefer getting the buff to my dispersion even tho on Fischer it loses some hp 14:26 pommern is a super slow whale with bad dispersion and mediocre secondaries lol

Ding Ruchang would have been my choice over AL Colorado, but to eachs own. People sleep on Reload builds. Like Zetien with a full reload build has nearly a flat 17 second reload which is digusting for 406s. Great game, by the way.

@@cpt_spudz_eye2904 yeah you can squeeze a little more out. Full reload for me is 18.6 but I run Reformer skill so it's 19.7 the way I'm playing it. Guess an extra second is nice but I prefer the range and dispersion buffs from Reformer. Only thing I'm not crazy about with this setup is turret traverse. Running DwD instead of GDb has those guns swinging at an abysmal 52.9 seconds...I generally spec into traverse cause for me it's crucial for shooting destroyers. Even so just had a really good match in the old Monarch

Im on my 3rd series X controller already too. Controller drift is so widespread that there's been class action lawsuits. Planned obsolescence if you ask me.

left stick or right? the right takes a beating in this game. the mod upgrades are fine. it makes T-7 that much more enjoyable to grind. and we haven't seen any of those hyper mods like Iwaki. those are broken. as long as the player earns their steel through grind and gameplay.

Question for you how much does big seven take away from the he pen from conquerer and nelson? Does it bring it down to like 50mm or less . Somtimes I noticed with big 7 I get alot of shatters. I don't know how to do the math 20:03 monarch is my highest base xp and highest damage still

I use a jellico build. Flame/ stealth/ speed/ range and fully packed plus greater health regen base trait Inspirations Colorado and fisher. My only problem with the fisher build is it conflicts between healing and faster reload. I want to heal asap so I can stay in the fight as long as possible and set as many fires as possible.

I've been running this build on conqueror since Fisher came out, it's so OP. High damage is 334k

A great 3rd party controller that is Xbox supported is the GameSir G7 SE, wired controller with hall effect sticks so no stick drift

I have been talking about it for years, we need a dead zone slider in the options to counter the stick drift. PS also suffers from it. Same tech. Apparently they are build to last for 400 hrs of use, that's just appalling.

Derka, please check if you can still make the 3x salvo during one spotter plane on Monarch using Queen Elizabeth, Godzilla, and Di Revell. Another silly build from a while ago I think should work! Also, I think that's the only ship in the game where that's possible - two full reloads and three salvos during one spotter deployemnt

Not a fix that everyone is okay with, but with the elite controllers, you can manually adjust your stick dead zones to curb any stick drift you may encounter. Just go to the accessories app and go into the controller settings. There, you can edit a plethora of things about the controller to help with stick drift as well as input stiffness.

@Tbone272 , It's a quality control issue. The build quality is a lot lower with the current model (with the capture button), but the QC is so bad that the variance is pretty big. My current controller is holding up fine, but it's the only one I've had since the One X that has held up this long.

It's a toss up for me...but i think Nelson may still be the best by a fraction just because of Marksmanship in slot 3. Conq needs the dispersion buff, especially at long range. I calculated the DPM at a base 22.9 reload for Fisher Then AL Nelson at 27 seconds or so And they are about the same. You just lose AP performance with Nelson if that matters to you. The Fisher benefit really kicks in when you get a low HP pool.

So knowing that you’re an Xbox player, I bought the Gamesir G7 SE wired controller about a month ago and it has to be the best controller I’ve ever bought for the money. It’s only $45 and has Hall effect sticks which will basically never get stick drift. The only “downside” is that it is wired. One thing to note, use the software to lower the dead zone on the controller itself, and also within the game you’re playing. I actually had my dead zone set to 0 on warzone which is insane. They also sell the original G7 version with potentiometer controls like we’re used to. Im not sure yet but the hall effect sticks might have some ever so slight delay inherent to them. I need to test that on a different fps game to be sure. Warzone servers are notoriously awful so what I’m feeling could be game side.

@@DerkaGames I’m fairly sure you can adjust some sensitivity on the sticks to reduce the effects of the drift. Definitely give it a go, it’s pretty straightforward from memory. Agree the controllers fall apart way too easily though, I always register the warranty and end up claiming a new one when it breaks. Normally the lb / rb goes on mine first

Buy a new controller and return it, but “accidentally” put the broken one in the return box. Normally I would think this is wrong, but I’m not going to wait 2+ weeks for a warranty repair. Plus, they can easily make them with better quality sensors for only a few cents more and they would last longer than the console. Alas, they would rather them wear out to get more controller sales.

I tried to like hawke even after the buff but the accuracy was so bad for me . The shell grouping was bad .i would barley get 1 or 2 shells hitting most ships and people knew my weak bow and stern so i would get slapped so easily even when i angled and tried all the tricks. Id rather play nelson at tier 7 then hawke any day. For me the only British bb that feels accurate is warspite. Also the Renown is very accurate the tier 5 brit bc. I think u can get conq to 11.6 irrc for full concealment. Unless im thinking of nelson
