The new beginner now had to fight AI at siege till lv100 before starting new journey to fight real player, this is to ensure everyone choose the right season for the entire season unit in your disposal. Perfecture Guard(Unlock this using Season Coupon) and Royal Guard(Grab this from spending 4star Coupon from Season) is essential must have unit with the new mastery system, Militia Pike and Halbidier is useless due to unable to counter most Cavalry with their Brace that didnt inflict fatal blow/CC toward certain Cavalry such as YanyueDao and Camel so it wise to avoid having this 2 unit and save up exp for Fortebilo Pike that can 1hit KO cavalry during Brace, Modao is good but still lose to Cresent Monk and the New Season 4star Female unit so eventually can skip having Modao and aim for Fortebilo instead. Longbow is now nerf, the area attack is now miss alot and Dmg reduce by 20% to Unit and 30% to Hero (Dead unit), but Prefecture Archer is deadlier still can do max dmg toward anything. Mace Sergeant is good for AI battle but in real battle they are weak in term of DMG to hero and easy getting CC by anything so it wise not having them if the real PVP begins because it will end up feeding even having the 15% HP recovery on Charge/Blunt skill. Overall choose the right season for the 4star and 5star for your early game and use them to farm Expeditions/Surround Bandit till max level with specific Blue Doctorine from old Season, Good Luck everyone.

Hum, in my opinion i will say halberdiers are really good, we talking about beginner here so no season units yet, yes you can say wich season units to get but for beginners that is as long way, so to all new people halbs are really good units, blue and purple ones, they deal good brace damage hold quite good vs blue and purple units, the veterency and mastery is nice, purple ones mastery kinda suck. For mace sergeants DO NOT get rid of them, they are very good this days, dont know why the original comment said they only good vs AI battle, but even my maces that have not all vet points and sub par doctrines can do alot of damage,(they kill alot of purple units, very good has a flanker too) for the price 150 leadership they punch above their weight, do they get cc? yes they do but all beginner units do, the meteor strike ability does good damage vs heroes, and they do blunt damage something rare to get for beginners, invest in them and you will see they will stay with you a long time. For the other things original comment said i agree.

@@hey.3249 If i think we talking about is the thing we get when doing story missions, the ones appear when you click F4, when you use it you will be given the choice of what unit of that coupon tier you want to unlock right way. But from this video, you already unlock prefecture guard to complete a mission.

5, because I am a recruiter/coach in my House and I need to know how the new system looks (I was lazy to do it myself, so thanks for your effort) I don't know how I feel about the new system, it surely does show a lot more about the game, but new players who joined my House recently say that low level sieges (50-150lvl) are only played against bots and that bores them. Mayority say that they'd rather play higher level players and loose than to play against bots, with monotonous battles and no new challenges

But what about Weapons??? I just started a new Character yesterday too... and you only get the Glaive and no Choice as to what Weapon to use from the start.... Do I have to use Glaive now until im able to buy myself a different weapon... just to then having to lvl it up again??? thats so dumb... back then you could choose ur weapon in weapon stacks in the old tutorial

yeah just got to level a bit. you can change your wep at level 20. just press P and go to skills

its not the first 80 levs, its after that, not being able to completed season challenges solo because groups of players with elite units just speed run them leaving no way of getting a a+ rating, watching 3 players with maxed out units roll over 20 player, well 5 and 15 AI in sieges etc, not a nice experience, cant complete the wandering rebel bands any more because they have now made them all much higher levels, where when the game launched there where varied levels of wandering rebs and bandits, the PVP is 20% you 80% your units and your playing against both players and AI players with much higher lev units,
