The top Elite upgrade is a game changer, they get VERY accurate and with "attack area" can reach over the 115 range. Another feature is the Shield Breaker dealing dmg to shield walls. Overall it's a very versatile unit and on some maps the range advantage is devastating.

While their dps may be lower than prefecture and fire archers, they can maintain a high damage output for waaay longer before they run out of ammo, so in general unless you have an easily available and convenient resupply point nearby, they will do far more damage than most other archers over that extended period of time of not having to relocate to a supply point to get more arrows.

I wish there was a way to move your units via the map. imagine you could have sent them to your supply point to get new ammo. Or maybe a "resupply" button that lets you choose a supply point to which you want to send them to

Pref pikemen got a little buffed but they are quite useless, they can charge once in a match on average (like cav) cuz they die very quickly and the charge time is quite high

Yeah I agree with Zerp pref pikes really are quite poor at the moment in my opinion (They used to be great) Halberdiers get great brace ability so are great for holding positions, so i'd say go halberdiers :-)

If you're having repositioning on time you might consider an attack move (hold v). Also for your poleaxe gameplay you should probably switch billhook and push back. You instantly use billhook after knocking them down completely negating the knockback effect it has, but pushback knocks the enemy out of bec de corbain range. So using billhook allows you to follow up with bec de corbain and save your push back for when you actually need to push them back.

Good tips about poleaxe, just need to try and remember to change the order i use them when i'm actually in combat!

Yeah sorry about the mic, been stuck on my laptop for the past 6 weeks whilst waiting for my desktop to get repaired, laptop has such loud fans the mic picks it up so I have to set very high minimum pick up levels on the mic which makes it go a bit goofy sometimes. Hopefully I get my PC back soon and then things should get better :-)

Nice video about Vassal Longbows. If you finds the Bronze cost too high, may I suggest you go to Hunting Lodges and make a visit to the Weapon smuggler. He charges 850 Silver per Kit

Yeah I will proboly find and buy some of the kits but to some extent I wanted to more point out the bronze cost because not everyone is going to be near to the town to buy supply kits :)

I think they are great when you are a Long bow yourself. Otherwise they feel weak.

fully agree... xp chgange is ruining the experience atm ;) (lol) ... not needed to get back to old xp growth ... .but come on .. meet us in the middle cause this is just far to much ;) people will stick with lower tier troops cause the higher tier troops only begin to become effectivly stronger then their predecessor at 8-10, and only really worth the higher leadershipcost at 11 and up. But before you get there ... lol grinding grinding grinding till ya hair is grey.

Yeah quite a lot has changed with the last pre season update. UI seems pretty crazy at first but much better once you get used to it :-)

That means you can have up to 100k . After reaching that mark, you don't get more until you expend some
