Love the videos, as a suggestion: I would like to have more time dedicated to the armies before the game starts, I would like a chance to really get a good look at the models and paint scheme and a brief breakdown of the army list, why each model was chosen and the strategy behind them. Personally that would add to the video even more.

I've been really loving having a consistent SBG channel that clearly loves the game. These videos have gotten better and better. I really like the bright colors and unique paint schemes. It makes the armies seem like "your dudes" and reminds me of a sports team or how people have their 40k armies. I think that its a great way to field and play armies for this great game! So great batrep. I really enjoyed it! a couple of mistakes: Models don't have control zones when they are in a fight You have to declare your wounds before you roll them. You cannot roll until a model dies and then continue on to the next When you call heroic move the hero has to move first. This means that if he is surrounded by your models he cannot wait for them to move and then move himself. Also you cannot select some models not to benefit from a heroic move and have them move later. If they don't move, that's it for the turn.

I love the patterning on the Easterling soldiers. It's bright and evocative, and they immediately struck me as some kind of army of angry hornets, while not being cartoony. However, I didn't care for the ringwraith. The head crest in particular was not to my taste, it came off as a bit cartoony/comic book to me. But that is personal taste, and it was expertly painted. I love the metal work on the Uruks but the skin tone was not to my taste when contrasted against the metal. In general, I love vibrant colour schemes, and would encourage you to keep running with them.

Why did Amdur attack with 4 dice when he didn't charge the crossbows? Happens after khamul wins his heroic combat.
@MTGFreak-4 жыл бұрын
Yeah I think it was a little misplay but you could say the 1 extra dice was the banner reroll just thrown right with the three he already had so it shouldn't make a difference in my opinion.
@stephenashton29994 жыл бұрын
@@MTGFreak- kinda does. More dice you throw at once more chance of that 6 that guarantees the win.
@MTGFreak-4 жыл бұрын
@@stephenashton2999 yeah but as long as you are losing the fight with Amdur u would always go "for the 4th" die, because it is free and you can always reroll 1 die because you will always have a die that is useless with 3 dice rolled right? And because they didn't roll a 5th die, just 4 at once, there shouldn't be any difference. Does this make any sense? my English isn't the best for this conversation sorry 😅

Awesome game! I play Easterlings and Isengard a lot! Nevertheless I think Khamul was flying at least two times to far! He can fly 12 inches not 14,15 😑 In Germany that is cheating and we hate it haha
@ConquestCreations4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment He was flying 14, 15 in the early turns because he was affected by the Easterling war drum which allows him to move up to 17 inches. After the War drum he only moved 12
@CapitanCorner4 жыл бұрын
@@ConquestCreations yes, that's true. Unfortunately I think it was not possible to charge the drummer in the end. Obviously the Uruk-hai Drummer is a hero and brings points on Clash bei Moonlight. So yeah, of course Khamul wants to kill him, but if he's out of range, he is out of range! Always hard to see in video but I didn't saw any measuring the distance at all in this particular moment. Honestly Jacob, you took an unexpected beating. So yeah, this Khamul move in the end was maybe a bit over the top. The Easterlings had a blowout win anyway :) Maybe it's a cultural thing. Germans like rules and playing precisely. Especially at tournaments :D
@ConquestCreations4 жыл бұрын
@@CapitanCorner All of the moves were pre measured and it was within 12" Khamul did move around the side of him which may have been a bit further but either way he could get the drummer. It was a bit of a beat down by the end . At tournaments everyone plays precisely here as well for the most part! Its on my bucket list to get to Europe and play in a bunch of tournaments!
@CapitanCorner4 жыл бұрын
@@ConquestCreations Thank you for your answer. Alright, now I'm cool with it :) I think at tournaments, especially if the top 10 or top 3 get a lot of prices for not less money (Smaug, Forge World Stuff for example) it's important to play precisely. Furthermore in our game it's unfortunately very easy to cheat. Compare it to Magic the Gathering tournaments for example. In Tabletop cheating is always an issue: Moving to far, fake dice (yeah that's a thing), say wrong rules to get an advantage, the stuff to cheat is long. So therefore it's important to play by good example and to lead by example. I play the game for 15 years now. So yeah, I try to play really precise to inspire people to play by rules and play with good character. In Austria, Switzerland and Germany I know nearly all tournament players and gladly most play fair and with good sportmenchip :) Would be great to see you at Ardacon or any kind of tournament in Europe :)
