⬆️Time index in video description.⬆️ I’m going to tentatively call this a temporary upload. I wanted to show that I’ve made some progress. Unfortunately, I’ve been busy with life and haven’t had enough free time to get this soundtrack completed by the end of the year. I hope to be able to upload a finished product sometime early next year.

Thank you! This soundtrack is one of the few in which the MT-32 version is better, in my opinion. You have actually uploaded it in the correct tempo. Much appreciated. One minor suggestion, if you change your description to 0:07 - Sierra Logo - 1 instead of 1. Sierra Logo [0:07], you will get automatic chapters in the video, which would certainly be handy. Anyway, thanks again.

I did a bit of experimenting and I discovered that the reason it wasn’t timestamping my video was because I didn’t have a track for 0:00. I’ve inserted a track called “Information” at 0:00 and now there are working timestamps.

This is wonderful. It's a shame KZbin monetizes it so heavily with ads every 5 minutes - otherwise it would be perfect for zoning out during work.

I know what you mean. I’ve considered setting all of my videos to 18+ content to make them “advertiser unfriendly” but then I get people whining about being unable to access my videos. Yet somehow they can still leave comments? I don’t pretend to understand how KZbin works anymore.

The fens theme is like a slowed down version of the Lake Pontchartrain music from the first Gabriel Knight. Or rather, the lake theme sounds like a sped up version of it.

They’re both in minor keys and they both use rhythmic, pulsing arpeggios. I can hear what you mean a little bit.

@@MordacksOrgan I imagine they were both composed by Mark Seibert? :) There's some similarities in other pieces of his too but that's true of any musician. Maybe it's because I've played so many games he's scored but I feel his style is very distinct.

@@haydensiska8454 The Gabriel Knight soundtrack was written by Robert Holmes. I don’t think Mark Seibert had much to do with Gabriel Knight. I know that Conquests of the Longbow is primarily credited to Seibert, but I think the majority of it was actually written by Aubrey Hodges who also wrote the Quest for Glory 4 soundtrack. I definitely hear Hodges hand in the Nottingham Castle and the Oak Tree themes. As for the Fens theme specifically, I can’t detect a specific composer’s hand. It might have been one of Seibert’s tracks. I’m not sure.

@@MordacksOrgan Okayyyy! I appreciate you filling me in, that's cool to know. Aubrey Hodges seems to have worked on everything! (Which I mean in the best way) Who knows, maybe while working on GK, Mr. Holmes checked out some of the OSTs of other Sierra titles (regardless of composer) and drew some influence. Or maybe I'm completely overthinking it 😂

57:17 "Battle at Castle"? Can you attempt a frontal assault to save the widow's sons?! I can't imagine that ends well.

Yes. I forget the exact procedure, but I think you have to into town disguised as a monk at least 1 time (going to either Nottingham Castle or the Abbey). At that point the game registers your “attempt” to rescue the wisow’s sons and will give you the option for a frontal assault if you blow your horn in camp.
