If you look up the prices on eBay they still are the thing. I eventually want to finish the non-working ones but just haven't gotten around to it. They are on display in a cabinet though.

Great video, I just sold a few of my childhood stompers on eBay. I’m a nostalgic hoarder but can’t keep everything! I had a G1 dodge pickup in yellow and black with foam tyres, a G2 2 speed Datsun pickup, also a Ford F100 Water Demon :) 🇬🇧

Are you from the UK? My mom is. I must have gotten my stomper over there on one of our trips to visit relatives because I can’t find a blue and white Subaru brat that was sold in the US; which is the one I specifically remember having as a kid. I want to get the Bronco running but even the parts and motor will cost me $50. I can’t believe no one has made 3D printed replacements yet.

I have some stuff to drop off there today and might make a quick trip inside to see what's there!

These toys were made for kids. But really, what nerdy adults can really resist them?! 😅

I just got mine running by gently bonking it, but it sounds very screechy, like if the motor was in the water

Try running it but slowly dropping in some 3-in-one oil. That should lube it and help it to run more smoothly.
