It's January 2021, I was just out around Medfield/Walpole/Dean College yesterday... it's different but also the same. Just over 20 years after a Conrail local dropped cement hoppers in Medfield, a LMIX 618 would park up on the same siding after grinding rails on Massachusetts Coastal trackage. After 30 years, with different equipment and operators, the tracks are still the same. The stations are different: Framingham has been rebuilt (perhaps twice) and Walpole got cleaned up. Doubletracking has been underway on the Midland. Wow, what a change. *I changed 20 years to 30 years in an edit. I can't math!

Great video! Grew up in Framingham and now live in Franklin. I used to spend a lot of time at the Framingham yard when it was PC. Still visit when in town.

Wow this is the first video I have ever seen of Conrail through Walpole MA, and I never knew that water tower existed behind the station. Thank you for posting this video, I really enjoyed it.

I was gonna say...that CSXT hopper and slug of PD (cement) hoppers had better be set off at Medfield Jct for the Bay Colony!!!!

GM had an assembly plant in framingham. typical for GM, close the plants OUTSIDE of Michigan. pander to the state of michigan, and the UAW there.
