You probably don’t remember me but we were bunk mates in basic lol. This is definitely the truth girl. The Army don’t care about nobody. It’s all about numbers.

The Army can be a great career, or short enlistment.

This whole thing about "your just a number an noone cares about you" i feel is BS. Thats life! In the civilian world it is the same, its normal. Ita how the world moves on when you cant perform or something happens. Im fine with it!

Well said. I watched this, after watching all of the other videos you made before this one. Just as I was beginning to wonder and worry about you, thinking that you were a little too positive about the military and wondering if you didn't really have a clear picture, and if and when the real truth was going to come out. To my surprise, after watching this video, I see that you do. I'm retired and was a single mother while in also. I'm glad to say that I was blessed to retire at thirty-five. Now, how many people are able to say and do that? :) Thanks to the military, I did:) One pro. My bottom line is, I had a love/hate relationship with the military. First and foremost I learned pretty quickly in my enlistment and I totally agree with you on, is that you are nothing but a number, a warm body, a position that can and if needed will be filled, that's all, SORRY :( Don't be under the impression that you're any more than that to Uncle Sam, and you'll do just fine. Rank, very much so has it's privilege, no matter what knucklehead is wearing it, so, beware. You can come in and be the smartest person in the world,, and just because someone regardless of how they got it, could be the dumbest rock on the planet, and just because they out rank you, they have control over you. Needless to say, I always believed that the promotion system could stand for a lot of improvement...smh. To end my rant, all six points were correct, and there are some pros to joining :) I could add a lot more, but I digress.

Smart and beautiful, gotta appreciate that combo ❤️. I’m prior service and waiting for my waiver to come back in so I can continue my career. Definitely agree with your points you pretty much nailed it lol. Showing this to my younger cousin because he wants to join and I want him to hear a honest perspective from someone else besides me.

I just want to say my sister, that you are so right. I have been in the Marine corps and the Army and the higher ranks are the same. I agree with what you have said about some NCO's are not like that . I was told by an NCO before I got out of the Marine corps, he said it's not the Marine corps it's the people in the Corp because I was feeling some type of way about the Corp's,so a couple of years later I enlisted in the Army and they messed up my paperwork and sent me to basic at fort Knox then after FTX then they found their mistake that since I was a former Marine I didn't have to go to basic. I then was stationed in Baumholder Germany in rear D and when I met my Sgt he treated me like crap for no reason and the other soldiers told me that he treats all lower ranking soldiers like that. I know that if it wasn't for people like that, I would have retired from the military but I refuse to be treated like a dog for no reason.I give people the most respect when they retire from the Marine Corp and the Army because you just don't know what they went through.

I really enjoy watching your videos, they can be referred back to and still be relevant. I myself am a future soldier in the US Army I ship out in September. If I could please make a recommendation, I'd like to hear more about your personal basic training experience and also your AIT experiences. Did the Army give you time after AIT to make your house a home? Thank you so much and you're doing an amazing job. I really look forward to your videos your vibe is so relaxing.
