Follow the Torah when fighting a war. An argument that I would use is that the IDF enforces policy that contradict Torah law where by anyone that follows them contradicts the 13 principles of faith that Rambam wrote to distinguish a Jew from non-Jew.

Change start with the leaders,when the leaders change,automatically the supreme court would change and new law would be pass to keep the sanctity of our people and our armies and as such the army will change too.Young people from 18-25 are usually recruited to the army,at 18-25 their minds are not that mature even though their physical are fully developed,on one hand they learn to be responsible and discipline and it's very good but on the other hand if the environment is devoid of Torah it is very detriment for our future and unfortunately this is what actually happened for the past 76 years,and when they get out of the army they live with the lifestyles of the goyim that is projected by the professors in the academy and the political leaders and party devoid of Torah,you see our young people who would become the pillars of tomorrow never got any chance to become who they are...they went to thailand and india and wherever they want for a spiritual quest and recreation and vacations and bring their curses back in israel with them,nobody ever cares and somehow we are now force by Hashem to care,i believe.
