All this in a creative environment which is open to anyone to attend where hangovers, bad coffee, reality TV and flower-power are no-where to be seen.

Child of the 60's, teenager of the 70's, born 1959. Sat in the middle of Swanstan and Flinders St for anti war protest when I was a bit of a kid. Hung down the west coast in the old days, probably you parents generation. I feel you man! Thanks for speaking about the real shame in Australia. We sure need light shed on our first culture. I don't think he's actually Aboriginal. Xavier's mother's family is white. His father wouldn't talk about his family history, so Xavier dreamed that he had an Aboriginal great grandmother. There are a lot of white people who claim some obscure connection to Aboriginal ancestry so that they can separate themselves from their white colonial history, and disavow any guilt/shame.
