Nice to see some positive feedback for a beer like this. I love all the RR sour and wild stuff. And, they do of course make a beer for Scott, Pliny the Elder or Blind Pig IPA. The idea that you can't drink more than one has never been a criticism for me. Do you want to eat more than one piece of cheesecake at a time? Just have one delicious, sour beer, and then move on to something else. cheers.

1. Massillon- My home town! 2. Went on vacation to Napa, sonoma was close so we got to go to RR. Beer was great there. Pliny was amazing on tap. Consecration and supplication were my first sours ever. They were really good. I haven't had another sour, I am thinking about brewing one and going from there.

We did a review of Fat Heads, their production is from Ohio, we did Head Hunter. We've done two Great Lakes, the Christmas and the Porter. All in the BBA KZbin library.

1. We pronounce massillon, (mass-ill-in) no biggie. 2. Went to Napa for vacation last year, RR is in Sonoma, so we drove there. All there beer is great. Pliny is amazing on tap and this was good. My first sour-- it haven't had one since. trying to get the guys to have another one

Since you are in Ohio, i'd be interested in your reviews of some Hoppin' Frog or Great Lakes. I forget, is Fatheads in Ohio or Penn.? Either way you guys should review some of that too. Nice review on the RR Consecration.

I've never eaten a piece of cheesecake. Not sure I can relate. :) Sours aren't my favorite kind of beer. I can appreciate why people like them, but I'm definitely more into roasted malts or big hoppy flavors and aromas.

So far Rodenbach Gran Cru is definitely my favorite. The other one I had is Wicked Weed Genesis Blonde.

It's a fantastic beer, for sure. I've managed to try almost all of the "-tion" series from RR, so yea, I'm a big fan. Either this one, or Supplication are my favorites, not sure.

Would really like to try this one! Nice video. Did you guys ever consider not having Scott on the episodes at any time? Seems like you would want a third person that actually likes beer. I guess the contrast between experienced palates and a bad one can be good though.

i personally love sours...i can down a good Gueze in no time, which is a shame seeing as they are so expensive...but love sours and i think they are more drinkable than non-sours for some reason, love the crisp great in the summer

Supplication is better imo, but this is a beer that has to be viewed through red wine colored glasses prior to drinking. If you didn't know it was a red wine barrel aged sour, you might think that it's awful. What I'm saying is that personally, I'm not a wine drinker, and I like beer way better. However, knowing that this was a red wine barrel aged beer, it made me appreciate it more. But, Supplication is drink of the gods...
