It seems like something I must address, So now my feelings I will express. They say my books made fun of race, But I can assure you that’s not the case, The words on my page they wish to erase, But this would be a silly goal to chase. It seems now I should express my sorrow, Certainly not yesterday, in a year, or tomorrow, I’m looking now for my apology at last, But somehow the words have left my grasp. I checked the cupboard, and under the bed, I searched the fridge, and in the shed. I looked under the rug, And in the sink, Under my mattress, and in my drink. It seemed to me my apology was missing, Seems strange perhaps but do now listen. Alas! I’ve found it, please do sit, It’s time for the truth, I must admit. "I'm not Sosa but I keep a llama". Ok, I don't get it. Sammy Sosa from the Cubs? Sosa from Scarface? Llamas? Like as in the animal? Do they drink it's milk with Crystal?

He's referring to a rapper named cheif keef who's often called "sosa" and he has a line about a llama in one of his other songs

@@Sigmundfrued Thanks man, you cracked the case wide open. (I actually googled it, it was driving me crazy, haha) I thought maybe it was a deleted scene when Tony went to visit Sosa at his compound and he had a herd of llama on his palatial estate.

llama is an old gun company from the 90s that went under.. Rappers have been saying ir since and I know none of them ever shot one..

This is one of your best podcasts yet, Matt Walsh! So good I had to watch it twice. I would comment further but this video pretty much says it all. Good luck, America.

Matt......Or whoever is choosing the rappers while I know these are chosen for the incoherence of the material. However I'd absolutely love to see Matt review the new NF(feat. Hopsin) song- "Lost". Just so we can get some exposure on the more intelligent, actually coherent, extremely well structured , thoughtful but brutal rap. That lyrically and musically is bloody brilliant and is a scathing commentary on actually relevant social and political issues. Seriously I think Matt may wind up an honest fan of NF and Hopsin and I'll also drop Born I, a rapper whose a practicing Buddhist, a local community leader, and also is nicknamed "The Black Sinatra" due to how often(and well) he performs covers of ole Frank. Also Lox Chatterbox whose lyrical composition and honesty regarding a lot of his own issues combined with his approach to his music is phenomenal. Although I would add the caveat with Lox that Matt may have to listen to the entirety of his albums to properly appreciate the overall narrative and message that Lox seems to have crafted. Anyway extremely late comment/suggestion rant over, I'm out haha.

Matt and myself are probably around the same age (I'm 38) so we are part of the generation where all kinds of music was popular. I loved rap in the 90s and still listen to some of it from that time but the newer music of all kinds is trash. Nobody is gonna look back in 25 years and say these guys were talented and legends. There's some music that is bad but nostalgia makes them sweet to us but this stuff will not bring back those same feelings.
