I'm a trump guy and always consider myself conservative as far as politics. That being said I think its ridiculous how most conservatives hear one song from a guy and immediately think they are dumb and have no problems. This guy grew up in the hoods of Chicago and made it out. Why can't people just be happy that these kids made it out of their situation and are successful. Reviews like this make conservatives look dumb. Maybe listen to more of their songs and form an opinion (I can name many others that are more meaningful such as I Know, etc). Ya'll need to stop acting like you are the only ones with life figured out perfectly. People are different and grow up in different situations. You all clearly will never change your mind about music, but why bash someone else. Stop making conservatives look lame cus some of us actually understand that not everyone grew up in the same situation and that everyone likes different types of entertainment. Carry on...

His music is only going to keep those that live in those tough situations to remain there bc his music only perpetuates that toxic lifestyle that isn’t good for the community. If he continues to glorify drugs, crime, etc that’s all impressionable youth and ppl are going to continue doing. It's a genre of music representing those who politicians ignore, coming from places Ben Shapiro and Matt Walsh wouldn't even think of going to the trenches. Them saying that its soulless is an uneducated assumption because the heart of rap is the heart, the messages deep within the lyrics, prayers, and wishes that it will get better for the world, messages of equality and love, and display of what it's like in the deep, dark areas that most people wouldn't survive. In the words of 21 Savage, "Rap saved me" This song, particularly, RAPSTAR by Polo G, showcases emotion and the pain that came with money. Hiding emotions, and referencing using drugs to numb pain. Truthfully a heartfelt, meaningful song with many positive messages that many must hear. (Edit: they also could go for many more lyrical-based songs than RAPSTAR that are still hits like Mona Lisa or Jesus Walks)

Honestly, the other videos were much funnier. This song did have a lot of depth to it. Obviously, there are many songs that are totally vulgar and pretty much nonsensical. However, there are many songs that touch on something real. I felt like this song was very much about how all the glamor and money can still leave you empty and you can get stabbed in the back. I like how many songs talk about mental health struggles. At the end of the day, rappers like Polo G and Juice wrld have audiences of millions that relate to their struggle. It's important that we as a society can talk about these issues that are plaguing so many of us and our loved ones. We need to have honest and compassionate conversations about these things and present real solutions that put people first.

🤣🤣🤣love how yall have no clue about this type of music...black kids don't look at hip hop for moral lessons. They normally listen with empathy because we have brothers and sisters and friends who have fallen into a life of crime and the 0.0002% of them become rappers and they are in pain because of trauma and they self medicate and spend on material things because they have lived a life that hasn't allowed for vulnerability and tru happiness. It is a fascinating thing to see. Most white people listening to nirvana and all these emotionally broken white rock bands weren't sucked into a life of violence or drug use. You understood them and had empathy and recognized that while Cobain would sing about emptiness and filling it with heroine use it wasn't a great idea...but you understood the art...but I totally get it you just can't relate and can't imagine their lives growing up. Great video though it was funny
