Because the country needs to spend money on basic things like the military, law enforcement and border security. You are spending us all into the poorhouse on luxuries and it will take generations to get Canada debt free and back on it's feet. Right now with these extras we are like a teenager purchasing a Maserati when a Toyota is more than ample. Rather than Child Care, why don't you offer better tax breaks for families with children then they could afford food on the table and child care?

People who are truely struggling the most don't go mall shopping, can't afford takeout or booze and are not getting a break at the grocery store because they can only shop at the food bank. Does baby Castro really think people who make $150/y are poor and need a handout like a person who earns $30/y Canadaians need an immediate reprieve and help with finances so axe the carbon tax, pst and gst completely gone. Raise minimum wage by $10 acrossCanada and a huge increase in child tax credit. A 2-3yr ban on rent raising. Cut personal taxes by %50 for a reasonable income bracket. No taxes for a couple years for people under ? And close the borders until you build about 10 million more homes
