Watches that are +12mm thick look better on straps that cover the open space between the lugs. Like Rubber B, Everest etc. It’s how the royal oak offshore & panerai can wear smaller.

I think something needs to be said about sizing bracelets: Do not make them so loose that the case slides around your wrist. Many times people may be given the advice of leaving enough slack that a small finger can slide between the wrist and clasp. But that kind of advice can mean a poorly-fitting bracelet. I know because I've had to get all my bracelets resized because they were ultimately too loose. I thought that I needed to get into straps more because they would fit a little better, but the solution was already under my nose: Get a proper fit. Sometimes what other people -- with good intentions, mind you -- advise is just incorrect.

Totally agree. It's really important to get a good fit. It will always come down to personal taste. The more info (experience from others) we can get the better. Then its just trial and error. Thanks for taking time to comment! Much appreciated
