There are only very few recurring expenses which are incurred before transit like Bank Charges and Expenses on damaged goods. But mostly in exams they will not give these expenses. So don’t worry it is easy anyway.

The Romeo cycle Limited Mumbai forward on 1/ 7 /2018 ,200 bicycle on Juliet trader Mysore to be sold on consignment basis. the cost of one cycle was rupees 300 out the invoice price was rupees 400. The Romeo of bicycle incurred 2,000 towards frieght and insurance. The Juliet traders give an acceptance for 20,000 in favour of Romeo bicycle Limited. The acceptance was for 3 months. The Romeo cycle Limited. discounted the bill at 10% 2 cycles were destroyed in transit and an amount of rupees 400 was recovered by the consignor from the insurance company. The Juliet traders had spent rupees 800 as Rent and rupees 500 as insurance, and had sold 160 bicycle at rupees 410 each cycle. The consignee is entitled to a commission of 5% on a sales including a Del credere commission of 1% The Juliet traders Were not able to recover the sales proceeds of 5 bicycles because of insolvency of debtor. prepare necessary ledger accounts in the books of both parties. Assume the accounts are settled.
