Man, I never knew just how vulnerable to destruction consoles could actually be - much less the Vita, with its teeny-tiny userbase that continues to dwindle... I love the damn thing, too. Sure, mine is caked in dust and with one sticky joystick having half-melted due to heat exposure, but goddamn if it wasn't the best $300 P4G machine out there. What a gorgeous screen, too. I'd be very interested in a video covering the 3DS and its many exploits! I've already homebrewed my system to circumvent the region lock to play Dai Gyakuten Saiban, and I know 3DS homebrew is just the tip of the iceberg. I went the software installation route and stuck it on my microSD, but I do know of other... creative ways of installing it, such as the Cube Ninja exploit. There seem to be endless ways to hack the 3DS overall; I'd be stoked to see you cover it! Love this series! Can't wait for more to come. Rock on, Muta \m/

You're wrong. It's exactly 3.60. Not 3.61. Also maidump is an outdated format and doesn't have high compatibility. Nonpdrm is the newest format and has perfect compatibility. Also you can upgrade to 3.65 custom firmware if you are currently on 3.60 to run newer games that require higher firmware.

Tethered means it requires the system to be plugged in to a pc to deliver the payload untethered means it can receive the payload upon startup or without being plugged in to a pc.

actually, the 3ds ransomware was just a false alarm, it was more malware though, and its the only the one cia application called unbanmii. It turns out it sent movable.sed and other files that could have been sold, but of course it was just sending them so it wasn't a non cfw so Nintendo didn't attack once they found out.

Utilizing it to it's full extend partially depends on how well it sells, it's a waste of development time and money utilizing something that isn't really getting used. I never owned a PSP or PSvita although i wanted to, it was too expensive for a handheld imo, so really it was a pricing and marketing failure rather than a utilizing problem.

Sorry for this comment, but hopefully this cleared some confusion UPDATE: my bad the untethered bit about the WebKit one is wrong, but untethered is still when you jailbreak from your computer and you only need to do it once and never have to plug in your phone in order to boot up

Psvita was my absolute favorite! Littlebigplanet and that goku game were my favorite I’d play it 24/7 it was better than anything! But my dad was just saying would you like a table I never new what would it do so I wanted it so I had it but it was a Lenovo it was bad not good and it was not interesting I really were sad and what broke my heart is that it isn’t popular anymore I got really sad I wish could have my psvita again ;(

@6:44, that's an untethered jailbreak. Tethered means literally what it sounds like (connected, or "tethered" to external device that runs or delivers the exploit, i.e. a PC running jailbreak software on an iPhone via USB). Untethered is only the device itself, no PC required, for instance, the browser vulnerability you pointed out is an untethered exploit. Also incase its not obvious, I was the kind of guy that couldn't wait for a jailbreak for iOS since day 1 (til I switched to Android), and I do have a Vita sitting in a drawer, so yes please I will definitely watch that hack video! (And yes, I'll definitely avoid vpks if I don't need 'em). Also I heard of, but haven't confirmed, but do you think it's really possible to put Android on it?
