+mortal4life Yes, the controller can work on a PC, however you can only use the rapid fire with the triggers and not with the 4 face buttons.

Because it’s cheaper to make them fit both controllers otherwise they’d have to manufacture two different machine programs to manufacture two different parts and if one of them sells more than the other, but they printed loads for both, then you’ll have a waste of money and time.

Hey i was wondering how you can change the rapid fire speed of the controller?

+OoL AoO You change the rapid fire sped within the programming mode. which you get into by holding all 4 triggers for about 8 seconds. you will see the LED flash white one time. Then you use the D-pad Up/Down to make the rapid fire faster/slower. tap the touchpad to save and exit. Here is a link to our full user guide. You have 3 different mods for several different controllers and all of them use words like TRUE FIRE, RAPID FIRE, EASY MAPPER, FIXED BUTTON, FLEX, and etc.. I know what I want but I have no idea what you guys are calling those features... I want a mod that turns a pistol into a machine gun but I also want to put buttons on my comtoller where I want them for jumping. i wouldnt mind trying out the croutch and shoot or jump and shoot and know what else is available. +🍁TreeingThotz🍁 Aka THCLovesTIH I am using the soldering iron at around 360 Celsius. Are you using solder with flux in it? sometimes called rosin core solder? the rosin or flux is needed to help the solder flow to new bare metal. Also having a properly cleaned and tinned tip on your soldering iron really helps. there are some video tutorials out there for properly preparing a soldering iron tip.

Yes, you can add 2 remapping buttons by soldering wires/buttons to the pads labeled M1 and M2. These are better than a Scuf Controllers because the buttons are programmable you can make them act as any controller button you want and change it at any time.

+Yanis Popko The rapid fire part of the mod can work with semi auto weapons in the Last of us, however most of the other features are specific to COD and Battlefield games.

The bad thing about the this rapid fire, is that sometimes you accidentally press left twice or something like that and end up turn on the mod when u didnt need. I think it should have a switch to turn on and off to avoid the accidentally activations.

It does, this is the optional button we install on one of these mods. you can add a button that takes the place of Left on the D-pad to prevent accidental turning on/off of features.

+Jazzepi 18 The Rapid fire mod has an option for 2 remapping buttons. these are the connection pads labeled M1 and M2 on the mod. The default to X and O but can be set to any button you like.

Basically you can turn as many on as you want as long as they do not conflict with each other. such as Jump and Drop shot cannot be on at the same time. The remap buttons buttons install exactly like the Mod button, just use the pads labeled M1 and M2 instead of the RF pads.

+brian mayer Thats the beauty of reflex buttons, they are programamble. so by adding them you are not locked to specific buttons. M1 Defaults to X and M2 Defaults to O, however to change them it is all software, no soldering needed. To change a reflex button assignment you just go into the programming mode (holding all 4 triggers for 8 seconds) Once there just hold the reflex button you want to change and while holding it tap the controlelr butt you want to assign to it, such as Triangle, The LED put front will flash to confirm the change and your done. Just exit the programming mode by pressing the touchpad. The reflex buttons can be assigned to any button, trigger, D-pad direction or the touchpad, the only buttons not mappable are the Share and options buttons.

If you don't want to install the button you don't need to do anything. Cutting of the circuit board depends on what version of the controller you ware installing it into. Some have the connections on the side and some have the connections in the center you remove what you don't need.

The mod button cannot be changed. You can turn on/off drop shot by holding B and tapping the mod button. but the main function cannot be changed.

Yes it is possible. On the second controller when we instaleld a button we hooked it to the pads labeled, RF, these pads are for turning rapid fire on/off. However if we would have hooked the wires to the pads labeled either M1 or M2 it would do exactly what you want. So basically you install the button just like we did on the second controller but solder the wires to the M2 pads instead of the RF pads. M2 is Circle by default. start watching at 16:35

+Torrent momzz No the Reflex buttons work seamless with the mod, they do not cause any problems. We also not have mod specifically for adding reflex buttons without the rapid fire or other featurs, so if this is all you need please check out our Reflex Remapper or Easy mapper mods.

why do you solder that point to the touch pad? it looks like it was where you cut the board off, is there an obvious solder point that you soldered to the touchpad?

+Josh Baer There is a large gold placed solder pad for the touchpad. You cut just below this so it is still there no matter which controller you are installing into. The touchpad is used for turning some of the features on/off as well as some functions in the programming mode and Advanced feature management.

+jurgen dams The Mod button is optional, if you do not install it you will use Left on the D-pad in combination with other buttons to turn features on/off. Examples you can either double tap left or Left + R2 to turn rapid fire on/off, Left + Circle to turn Drop shot on/off.

Correct the Middle 2 are both grounds. It does not matter which one you use as far as the M1 or M2, M1 defaults to X and M2 defaults to Circle but they can be changed to any button that you want.

You don't need to change any wiring. There is an option in the mods "advanced feature management to change the mod to work with Flipped layouts. This is call the "trigger mode" you can find information on page 9 of the user guide on how to change it.

+chumbrega2 We do installations on both a older (connection pads in the center) controller and a newer (connection pads at the edges) controller in this video. The first controller we mod is the older style. For the newer style you can skip to the 10:00 mark.

You must first go into the Programming mode (Hold R2+R1+L2+L1 for 8 seconds) then when in programming mode hold R3 +L3 for another 8 seconds and it will reset to factory defaults.

All features are built onto the chip there is no external software needed. Most of the features have additional customization you can change with them and the features like rapid fire and quick scope have programmable speed options all within the chip itself.

To program the remapping buttons you just need to go into the programming mode. Once there hold the remapping button you want to change and tap the controller button you want to assign to it. you can basically map any button, trigger or D-pad direction except for the share and options buttons.

How many watts is your soldering tool ?

The one we use is adjustable and based on a true temp instead of watts. but if you are using a soldering iron rated in watts you will want something around 30 watt, no more than 40 watt.
