6:53 "Dremel" is what you are looking for. 6:06 I'd use a bigger wire than I used in this video. 5:21 Yep, You can do it with a soldering iron but with a hot air gun, it gets faster.

Dude, the original shell is jds055 but the transparent shell is jds040 or something even earlier, there are some differences between them. Anyway, nice video. Btw, when I saw the Chinese characters on that blue plastic board and the controller code ZCT2NA, I recognized that you were in China lol.

With the battery replacement mod, can you still use the touchpad clicker on the custom DualShock 4 controller? I did the battery replacement mod (103450 LiPo 2000mah) in my JDM-011 controller and it bulges, I can screw it firmly but the touchpad clicker no longer works; it's fully pressed.

So I did the same things, but I want to take it to the next step. I want the USB-C mod WITH the LED in tact. Any thoughts? Maybe displace it with some wire too? What LEDs would be easier to work with? Also, what temp did your heat gun put out? I have to say, this is one of the cleaner videos of the mods for this controller though! @@ReMARKCHANNEL that's a lot more LED than my eyeballs have ruin for lol. I will probably just displace it with wires. As for the speaker, have that as a mic all built in because the speaker is pretty useless, at least when used with a PC. Then you could have a nice hobbiest controller, and unless you have a button mod for the bottom half of the case, a 3000 mAh battery will fit with the bracket removed and something to protect it from solder pins. However the 2000 mAh battery already doubles it, and has the bracket in tact.

Well, The lightbar is gone. I would say that I did this on purpose because mostly I play at night time and I don't like the light from the DS4. However, I'm pretty sure that it's possible to save the lightbar, I just haven't tried.
