I literally just came back after 4 years of inactivity, and this is happening. Hilarious. If the C5 update will be anything like the C4 and Delves update, it'll be like 3-4 months. What I can see happening is everything will become non-tradeable from here on out.

We are witnessing the death of Trove in real-time. A similar situation occurred a few years ago, but was resolved with a server reset since it was caught and fixed within a few days. However, this time, the duping has been happening gradually over the past month, which has led to a slow and steady inflation of the market. Unfortunately, there won't be a rollback for this issue since it's too complicated and could drive away a significant portion of their player base. Trove's only real option is to set the marketplaces tax at a ridicolous rate, like 75%. This move would decrease the amount of flux received for an item due to tax, in turn reducing the actual price of the item itself. Right now the survival of trove is dependent on the devs response, trove has never been in such a critical time.

Your completely right and this is just sad to see, I don’t really see a way of recovering right now. My idea is they implement a new “flux” and change everything over to to that new resource while essentially making the current flux obsolete but who knows if the devs will even have a response at this point 😕

Damn, I just restarted the game after 1 year of inactivity, I was in shock. Today I opened the game and I saw in the market that my old resources that were worthless before are very expensive. I also searched for ganda out of curiosity and I was shocked. That's when I decided to see on youtube why the market became like this and I came across this video. You can get a lot of time gated materials from skelly boxes and golden dragon eggs that your missing as well as 30 day patron passes but the duping did ruin the economy and skyrocket players in mastery but I try to see the positives

I was so shocked after not playing trove for almost 2 years and seeing tons of gandas being sold on the market for only 400k to 700k. Back then, it was like at least 15 million flux. And now every common item is being sold for millions of flux which is insane. I was able to make 200 million flux by just selling some junk I had in my inventory that was worth nothing 😂

I was actually in the same topside world when you reached that mastery rank level, crazy to see an upload now 😂. That aside, it's good to hear a take from somebody your level who's far more well versed in trove. This game is absolutely cooked, I think they've made so much in profit due to credit pouches flying for $50m, for them to even consider a rollback. I have just about 300 hours, but nearing 40k. And damn, I don't see the playerbase sticking around much longer. (If this keeps up) Atleast on PS, I've seen nothing but greed, toxicity and envy ever since this dupe got out of hand.

Well, in my opinion, Gamigo should include a flux sink, a way to incentivize people to spend that flux on something that burns that flux and not getting back to other gamers. Just set an event to exchange flux for Dragons, costumes, allies, etc

I remember the PC duping last year, it was straight up absurd and hilarious how Gamigo responded to that, right now, there's a club clubit exploit that allows you to put another club's clubits into the negatives without being in it.

@@vewyscawymonsta honestly the duping will be more helpful for new players, it only really affects endgame players and mastery chasers imo. You will be able to easily upgrade your gems without having to worry about flux, you can get some easy early mastery, you can buy c4 rings granted you get a little bit of flux

I’m not too sure if they have an Id number for stuff like flux, and if they tried to add that type of system now it would be too late, my thoughts are they should just essentially remove flux or make it an obsolete resource and implement a new type of flux and just swap every recipe and currency over to that resource

@@yrezu8209 i have been playing trove since beta, and im not goint to say the game is bad, but, why they just dont roll back the servers everytime they see people dupping items, since 2014 that thing has been going on, and every year appears a new way to dupe items, so the devs never really cared about the game, thats my point of view, im currently max PR and MR and ive allways played legit, i feel sad for people that think Dupping is a good thing for them, but in general this just kills the game, more and more, i dont have words to describe how sad this is for the whole comunity and for new players also, the game is going to die soon, and the devs aren't really doing much about it, as said, only 2 devs working on game, so we all know what is gonna happen.

It doesn’t seem like it I was checking eu last night and eu had paragon pins for 50k ea in stacks of 1000, vs na with paragon pins at 12k ea in stacks of 3k. We had and endless supply of 30 day patron passes selling for 500-900k eu only have one days and they are expensive. I couldn’t find any smelly boxes but na has a ton of those. The main thing eu has worse from what I saw was Ganda’s at 120k ea in stacks of like 100+ vs na which is like 5mill ea. then eu has a ton of starfire eggs at 9mill ea vs na which has all the golden eggs at 50m ea for the most part
