Maam in ill no.6 , You gave effect of revaluation of asset in asset approach but in ill no 13 , 39:57 you didn't gave effect of revaluation of asset in equity approach ? I am confused little bit, rest everything is clear . @bhavanasOnlineAcademy

Bro for equity approach we won't give effect of revaluation of asset. If you watch conceptual videos of Consolidated financial Statements by bavana akka . She explains format of analysis of Reserves on Step 5. On that format she explains revaluation of asset will come on Asset approach. In equity approach only share capital and pre acquisition reserve only come. In the illustrations she written the revaluation gain or lose in equity approach but didn't give effect for that.. so revaluation effect won't come in equity approach

Because general reserve balance is given at the end of 2nd yr of acquisition (Date of consolidation). So they will treat it as post acquisition.
