Also, toppling "leaders" doesn't necessarily regress progress, especially when the "leaders" themselves ARE the stumbling blocks to progress, like current western-puppet "rulers" we have for example. Things should be put into the wider context and wider systemic analysis. is the current people in power represents a force of reactionary elements, or progress? These questions should be discussed more, and we shouldn't just resolve to a very oversimplified notion that "toppling those in charge is bad by default"

Worth researching the creation and collapse of the infamous Baghdad Pact that comprised of Turkey and Iraq and Persia and Pakistan. That coincides with the collapse of British position in Asia the Indonesia independence. Anglo financial was London the nexus of this pact and meant to retain the (then) British Empire however it was being challenged by independence movements in Africa and Yemen and Cyprus. Iraq as in Libya attained their revolution booting out the British client regime and in decades Iraq would become particularly important as a nexus of Arab identity and anti~imperialism. The Baghdad Pact long gone coincided with the Anglo coup against Mossadeq of Iran and the role of The Seven Sisters the oil corporations. Finally your channel would find it worthy to research Miles Copeland.

We became weak in Iman and Amal. We became content in our ways and lost the drive for excellence of the Sahaba RA, Tabiyeen, Taba Tabiyeen and those that followed them. They conquered the Persian and Byzantine empires and Baghdad became the beacon of learning and science that carried on the learning traditions of the great empires that preceded them.

@gulamdastagir245 I'm from Pakistan, so I don't have any problem with MBS and the GCC moving towards a more liberal understanding of Islam. As a Frontline country in the War on terror, We understand that you can't let religious leaders get so powerful, they try to take power violently. The ill meaning religious leaders can exploit ignorance and religious fervour, of the common populace. I have nothing against religious education, I respect it but the population especially the poor should be educated in science and religion both. If you think MBS will give up on being One of the most influential leaders in the Islamic World, you're not very clever. KSA is a power on the world stage but it's prestige is unmatched in the Islamic World. I don't take MBS for a fool and He plans on building on that power I'm sure. The only problem I have with MBS is the line city project, where I believe He is being misled. The other only problem I have is with prostitution in Dubai.

Since 1776 the US has been at war 225 years out of 247 years (roughly 93% since its existence). the US was directly involved in wars and conflicts all over the world. the US has undertaken almost 400 military interventions and invasion. including 200 of which took place between 1950 and 2019, of those 200 more than 100 have taken place during the post-Cold War era between 1991 and 2019. The post-Cold War era has produced fewer great power conflicts and circumstances in which to defend vital US interests. yet US military interventions continued at higher rates. Note of correction: Mohammed Moisadec was a democratically elected leader of Iran and did not become the leader of Iran through a coup. He wasn't in the military, so how could he have been a leader through a coup? The book "reversed counter coup" is not depicting exactly what really happened and the book written by john perkins is more thorough and explains it well..😑
@Historyun

No. He came in as a result of the Coup, not that he was a leader in the Coup. He was also opposed to Razmara so it did work in his favour in the broader perspective.

Great video on a unique topic. 0:17 One of the smart moves by King Faisal was to exile all Saudi ministers who had baathist, communist and socialist links/sympathies. He always spoke out against both the capitalist and communist blocks and he constantly remained deeply rooted in the Islamic values. 5:16 before the partition of the Indian subcontinent, a famous Indian Muslim scholar known ad Mawlana Azad stated: "Pakistans confidence will not erode as long as Jinnah and Liaqat are alive. But incompetent leadership will pave way for military dictatorship" 3:49 Faiz Ahmed Faiz is still a very popular poet in Pakistan. Even though he was socialist his poems are quoted by all Pakistanis including islamist politicians. 6:13 I remember this happened when I was a child. 1 day before it happened I returned from a trip to visit my mother's family in Pakistan. The next day my uncle phoned us saying that there was chaos on the streets of Karachi and there were burning cars everywhere 11:27 exactly. I would add that the british further derailed progress in Jordan by later removing king Abdullahs son Talal within just 1 year and replacing him with his 17 year old son Hussein as he was easy to control and manipulate 13:04 An interesting fact about Muhamamd Naghuib is that after Nasser overthrew him, he removed his name from the history books and took credit for all the reforms which Naghuib made. Nasser was against Naghuib because he was close to the muslim brotherhood and he was also jealous of him because he was so popular in Egypt.

love n respect from Rawalpindi, Pakistan, i would like to add here that Pakistan's military was the leftover of anglo British military men who fought for the Britishers in WW2, they were of common backgrounds who did treason against the Indian Mughal empire and sold their souls to British military by order of queen victoria, when British left all of their leftover British military took over Pakistan and till now they rule Pakistan, ex-PM imran khan won the elections by 97% majority they tried to assassinate him and now falsely imprisoned him. right now the current Pakistani military chief Asim Munir is the most corrupt general ever, they all ended up in Western countries after retirement with billions of dollars, and Arab world and Western leaders helped Pakistan's military to keep its people deprived thus providing salves to their economies. Imran Khan has exposed Pakistan's military which orchestrated fake terrorisation and promoted it by funding the extremist molounas and kept the nation divided on a regional and sectarian basis. The Pakistan army's dirty games have been exposed now and Pakistanis will never ever trust this traitor military and will never accept them to keep Imran Khan imprisoned, imran khan who won the election by 97% majority must be reinstated as the PM of Pakistan.
