I personally think it was Jon Benet’s brother Burke that did it, just because I read or saw somewhere that he had a history of being violent, it’s weird how he just kinda slept through everything like it was nothing, and he just has major creep vibes

Yes I believe he did it , they find a male DNA in jonbennit’s pants . That’s why They think he did not do it . But here is a reason for this The night of her death it was a Christmas party so her perants invited a lot of friends and she possibly was sexually assaulted by one of them particularly a male. They did not identified the DNA cuz the predator has no criminal charges and I could not believe they didn’t take samples of the friends.here we come to her death. At the late night her brother was eating a bowl of pineapple when she came and took some he got angry and hit her with a baseball bat .he then went to his parents and told them and he may say I got angry and hit her with a bat and she’s a sleep . The parents took him to his room to sleep and may convinced him she’s ok and sleep . When they saw her they knew she’s dead so they make up a plan . That explained the long ass letter the mother wrote . And the father when he went directly to the basement and not calling the officer when she was with them looking for jonbennit and the fact that he hold her and destroyed all the evidence is sus . The brother I believe he did not remember at all what happened. In some situations when you were a kid doing something it’s normal to not remember what happened.

Every time I hear the JonBenet case it hits so hard just thinking about how many awful people were in this little girl's life. Regardless of who did it, the amount of adults who acted so gross and creepy towards her in life and in death-- the neighbor, the teacher, the family-- it's just disgusting and heartbreaking. She deserved and deserves so much better

@Camila Parada you mean the dna on the underwear? It was later stated that it was dna from a worker who was packaging it in the bag, meaning it was fallacious and it opened back up all the previous suspects. I strongly believe it was the family who killed jonbenet.

It was her family for sure. Imagine the suspect sitting down and writing a ransom note downstairs while everyone is sleeping upstairs…lol bull. They clearly planned how to cover it up before they called the police. Not to mention, I think they’re rich enough to pay somebody to cover things up. It was clearly them. It’s more so why at this point, and not who. Also I wouldn’t be surprised if people paid to abuse her and she died during this.

For JBR, my theory is that the brother hit her and severely hurt her/knocked her out to the point where she needed medical attention, but the parents were either SA-ing her or letting others SA her, so they couldn’t take her to get help otherwise they’d risk being found out, so instead they tried to make it seem like she was kidnapped so that none of the family got the blame for anything but then they ended up actually killing her in the process

As a parent. I would be running around my house looking through every spot . It would be automatic. I got home from work one time and my daughter wasn’t home. I yelled and couldn’t find her. This is a kid how never ever goes anywhere without telling me. I was yelling her name and looked in every single spot and room and even the basement rooms (just out of habit, running around and yelling her name). I texted her and no answer. I started to text her friends when I realized it was the day she goes skating. I totally thought it was a different day and not the actual day it was. My point is that it’s automatic to run around and look for your kid out of desperation

THIS ! My three year old daughter snuck out of the house one day, it was in between me bringing her inside and then I went back out and got her little sisters car seat and brought it o the kitchen and she slipped out in the split seconds I was out of the room. I locked the door. And realized ten min later after feeding her sister she was gone. I literally searched every single cabinet and under every bed and in every nook and cranny in the house while on the phone with 911. She was NOT in that house. My boyfriend found her sitting on the porch with his next door neighbor lol My point is there’s no way I would’ve missed her body if it was me in their house.

I am surprised you didn't mention the conspiracy that the brother was involved with Jon Benet's death and the parents were covering up for him. The popular consensus seems to be they got in a fight and the brother accidentally killed her, so the mom wrote the ransom note to keep him from going to jail. This case haunts me. This is the most poorly handled murder case I can think of. And so many things were off like: Why would an intruder take the time to write a ransom note (especially one as long as the note allegedly left for the Ramseys) inside the Ramsey home with the rest of the family sleeping upstairs? Unnecessarily risky. Another thing- why would an intruder write a ransom note inside the Ramsey home but leave JBR body in the basement? How did the intruder even know the exact value of the bonus ($118,000) that John Ramsey had recently received at work? If the intruder knew how rich this family was why did they demand such a small amount like $118,000? Why did so many handwriting experts say that the note was most likely written by Patsy? If that the intruder truly entered the Ramsey home via the broken window in the basement, how did they manage to do so without disturbing the cobweb in the corner of the windowsill? If John, Patsy, and Burke are all innocent, why did they behave so bizarrely in the immediate wake of the murder (i.e. John and Patsy refusing to cooperate with detectives, Burke's interview with the child psychologist, etc.)? Why was Burke heard screaming in the phone to 911? Why was pineapple found in JBR stomach? Did the murderer feed her then kill her?? That was her favorite dish, and if her mother was telling the truth and they did go straight to bed. That should have never happened. And finally JBR was knocked out for up to 45 to 2 hours- then killed. Did the murderer assume she as dead?

The only thing I cannot look past is the ransom note. I always come back to that note. 1) The ransom note was written on Patsy’s stationary. There was also a draft of that note in the trash can. Who has time to break in to a home, kill someone, and then sit down at the person’s kitchen table and write a note? Someone who isn’t worried about getting caught in the act, that’s who. Someone who belongs there. 2) The handwriting on the random note was very similar to Patsy’s. 3) The ransom amount was the exact amount of John Ramsey’s Christmas bonus that year. 4) The note was left at the bottom of the stairway that the family walked down each morning. Not in JonBenet’s room, not taped to the front door, not sitting by the phone...on the steps. Only someone who knew the family’s routine would pay attention to such detail.

Also, it being on the steps would imply the "kidnappers" either went up or down the stairs. Those were old wooden stairs, no one heard them? And in the extended 911 call, you can hear Patsy whisper "What did you do?!" And wasn't she found in the basement?? Why would the kidnappers take the child to the basement?? No way the parents aren't involved, it's painfully obvious. Her brother had a history of hurting her, he hit her with a golf club in the head. But everything that happened was too much for a child to do alone, and he wasn't much bigger than Jon-Bonnet, so he would've struggled. Her parents are 110% involved, and you can't convince me otherwise.

Personally I believe that her brother killed her and her mother covered. Based on how her mother talked, either she is the utter most best actor in the entire world or she did not kill her daughter. A relationship with a wife and her husband and a wife and her child are very different. There is not that life or death, end of the world connection with her husband because he isn't her blood. Her child is part of her and she is much more likely to cover for her child then cover for her husband. Which is what makes me think that she was killed by her brother. Like I said I don’t find it likely that she would cover for her husband and there is basically no way her husband could have done this without her knowing.

i think the parents paid off those two guys to “confess” or possibly black mailed them cuz they knew of their sick obsession with their daughter and children in general, to throw the police off their trail. cuz let’s be real, once the police get to a certain amount of dead ends, they give up. and it’s not that hard to believe, they’re rich lmao. that poor girl did not deserve that :( edit since people are misinterpreting what i’m saying; the first two words i said are “i think” meaning it’s a theory. i based this theory off of cases i’ve seen in the past where they would pay off or black mail someone or people to “take the fall” for something that happened. to either a) have that person actually go to prison and actually take the fall. or b) to push and pull the police everywhere to make it end up being a cold case situation. and what i mean is, they have people “confess” but purposely mess up the details so they don’t actually go to prison. then keep having someone do that until the police give up. then it gives the real criminals time to come up with false evidence or stories to back up the fact that they’re innocent and/or to never be discovered in general, like they’re not even a suspect in the police’s eyes or never found cuz they’re distracted by all the false confessors, if that makes sense. and let’s be honest, when enough money is involved, you’d be surprised how many people would be willing to do the unthinkable.

@@kmackblack I'm fairly convinced that her brother murdered her, but whether it was done purposefully or accidentally I have no idea. I mean I could take a guess and say _maybe_ it was jealousy... but who knows really 🤷🏻‍♂️ Either way, I think her brother killed her, and their parents then created the whole "she was abducted for ransom money" scenario... because they'd already lost their daughter and they didn't want to lose their son. I could be totally wrong of course, and I respect your opinion either way; but for me, Patsy's flustered-yet not _completely_ offended-reaction to that cops accusations really makes it seem (to me) like she knows more than she's telling- as does her knee-jerk response of "let's all work together to solve this guys ❤" after being accused. I know it's easy to sit here and think that we all know _exactly_ how we'd act in any given situation, but of course we don't really know- so please, take my opinion with a grain of salt lol.

The investigators who worked on the Ramsey case have concluded years ago that the parents were both involved. Whether or not it was an accident- there are multiple theories. But both parents were involved in the murder and cover up. Boulder police were so lax with them the entire investigation and danced around ever admitting the parents' guilt/charging them. While the mom Patsy has since passed away, the dad will likely never be charged. Very sad and unfortunate. That sweet girl deserved so much better. The book JonBenet by lead detective Steve Thomas is an incredible read if anyone is interested.

Something really sad about this theory if it was true is that her brother wouldn’t have killed her right away, she was just knocked out. So if they did try and cover it up, the parents actually killed her by suffocating her with tape and a garrote (it was also found at the scene but wasn’t mentioned in this video!)! Such a sad case with so many details!
