As someone who used to work in a warehouse I can confirm the cheaper brands are just the name brand that got damaged in productions bought out at a cheaper price sold cheaper by these companies. I was also shocked af when I found it out , growing up poor people made fun of everything down to your lunches if you didn’t have name brand. So finding out it was the same, and all along the bullies were bullying me over nothing essentially, was crazy to me lol.

Fun fact about the last theory! Those are called ghost business/kitchens. We had one at Sweet Frog when I was working there and it was a pain in the butt. My mom is a door dasher and sometimes she'll get foods from different business yet she had to retrieve them from fast food places. Like TGI Fridays for example, she would get a order for some weird sounding name and just had to go to TGI Fridays. Idk if it's to get a little more money or to trick people into thinking it's a small business but either way they're the pain in the butt for the workers and delivery service workers.

@@littlelagoons that may be true for the animals crackers in the video but speaking specifically for the uk if an item is “off brand” it will be made in a different factory than the company product meaning the quality is different and even then this comment section and Shane in the video are mind blown by this very simple and not very shocking concept acting like companies are hiding it in some master scheme to take everyone’s money

I’m a barista and during our barista course they told us during our training that brands get tea from the same batch at the same machines. And the reason some brands are higher quality is because they get the good whole leaves and the cheaper companies get the damaged leaves. If you want to know if your tea is “good” is to see if there’s any specs of tea leaves in the bottom of your cup at the end of brewing. If there’s specs it means it’s “bad”

I was thinking this while watching. They can make it at the same manufacture building but be making them different. Hey Shane! I work in a vision center selling glasses and I just wanted to spread some info to y’all: almost all of the name brand glasses you buy are made in knockoff factories. For example, Ray Ban is an extremely popular brand that people come in looking for. However, unless it says that it is made in Italy, it is a knockoff. We have like two pairs that day they’re made in Italy and others from China, Taiwan, etc. next time you go to a place that sells glasses, look at where it was made! Authentic glasses will all be made in one place. If you have Ray Bans that are made in Italy, congrats, but they hardly sell those now!

I told her not to waste her money and the boy happily agreed to get less expensive frames that were (honestly) probably better quality

Shane truly has no idea the amount of excitement I get when Shane or Ryland upload or a new podcast comes out. I feel so deeply connected to Shane and frequently say I would literally be him if I was a guy lol. It might have something with our birthdays being 2 days apart so we're like astrologically compatible lmao.

"I would be Shane Dawson" is not a good thing, slugger. You should be embarrassed that you somehow think otherwise.
