a few landmarks that you've spotted: 6:11 - Cernavodă Nuclear Powerplant 6:24 - the Danube - Black Sea Canal (I think, or it could be just the Danube) - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danube%E2%80%93Black_Sea_Canal 6:40 - King Carol I bridge (the one you see on the window) - the 2nd largest bridge in Europe at the time of construction en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_Carol_I_Bridge 7:00 (winding below the bridge) - the A2 highway to Constanța (the train runs mostly parallel with the highway anyway)

6:24 that's the Danube. 5:20 The Danube - Black Sea Canal, the northern branch from Poarta Albă to Năvodari, just north of Constanța.

Hello, nice trip report. Regarding the dirty seat situation, they are only cleaned once a year or two depending on when the wagons are sent in for their scheduled periodic repairs, which can be delayed. The company that handles cleaning is also incompetent, only sweeping the floors with a dirty broom most of the time so considering this, the wagon was in 'decent' condition by Romanian standards.
