This is the first video I saw of you guys playing. I got to cry as I was going through a deep sorrow in my life and soul. Every time happening the same. Finally, I found out you were going to play in Prague in April this year 2023 and I bought the tickets driven by emotions. Tree days travel back and forth from Mexico just to see you live...And I could sit in front of you second row and could not stop crying again-I do not cry often, please don't think I am drama addicted, haha- but what I learned from your music is the magic and power you emanate and the healing you provide. Fortunately I could speak this words to you Kiya, and your modesty and genuine soul was not a surprise to me but also another gift from life and the fortune of finding Constantinople and Ablaye im my path. nah you just ain't looking well enough in the proper places. Roots Revival, Hania Rani, Yussef Dayes are to name a few in a few different genres. I know its tempting to feel victimized by social media, streaming services and the out pour of crappy generic music in the mainstream circles, but good stuff is out there, you just have to be more proactive at looking for it.
