The Golden Road A dreamscape of undulating desert and snowcapped mountains Below the tiny figure of a Sufi dervish from his heart effulgent Sparks strewn forth from his hands across the heavens, forming galaxies, Whirling in a Kosmic spiral, the dance divine of love and light, From which springs matter and consciousness, the secret spark, And the water of love, calls forth, a call to prayer, Answered, as life hidden within each seed, each seed sheltering the soul, The soul which bursts forth into life to reach with deep yearning, Every fiber possessed by the holy longing, to reach strive for the stars, the light, the love, and a return home

No sign of inner turmoil did I send To each who thought he was my bosom friend.
