I used magnesium supplements ( it helps to retain water in stool) and used castor oil ( organic in glass bottle only package) drops in navel and massage gently every night. Choose fibre intake wisely insoluble or soluble fibre even too much fibre can cause constipation. As per my experience if potty is very hard to pass try magnesium supplements to soften the stool and if small stool but very constipated then definitely add more soluble fibre I give oats roti to my son. PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND LOTS OF FLUID INTAKE IS MUST. If nothing work try no milk, wheat or egg diet. THIS IS WHAT MY EXPERIENCE IS ***
