I don't know if they went through a revision, but my screen on my Centipede cab has pretty good black level and is viewable from all sides. And actually, this is one of the most sought after A1Up cabs around.

So the mod done by Alan Dagenais… did he swap out the monitor and pcb from the partycade or the Gen1 cab? Will the Gen1 cab encoder work with the Deluxe control deck? I really want to know more details about this mod. The horizontal screen is what keeps holding me back from purchasing the Deluxe cab.

From what I remember him telling me, he had to build a new control panel and drop in the old screen from The 2018 cab bezel and all.

ConStorm Entertainment, I agree with you, Quantum deserves another shot... BUT... Arcade1up did such a poor job with it's emulation and response on my Deluxe Atari 12 in 1, that I'm not sure they'd be willing to put in the time or resources to do it right. Quantum was a game I played actively in the arcades and it was a bummer for sure when I got Arcade1up's iteration. vgv

I can understand where your coming from, sometimes the 12 in 1 trackball would shoot off in a direction on occasion

The screen is worst to view from the right, so I have mine right next to the wall on the right side of the room, same as your set up, that way it can't be viewed from the right. Only straight on and from the left. Still, it's a bummer. A real black eye on an otherwise great cab.

Yeah it helps that it’s a 1 player game but I do plan to move forward with a partycade mod once this gets paid off

Arcade1up need to step up and make more countercade online wifi for people can play also they need to coming out more some more arcade cabin

Most of their big announcements won’t be until winter of 2023 but there’s a low possibility they could release a couple more things before the year is out
