Constructing a hydrogen pipeline in Grangemouth as part of pioneering gas decarbonisation project

We interviewed Construction Manager Craig Henderson at the A904 Bo'Ness Road in Grangemouth where we're construct a hydrogen supply pipeline. The pipeline will take hydrogen from our partners INEOS to feed into our pioneering LTS Futures project.
LTS Futures will repurpose a 30km transmission pipeline with hydrogen. The work is leading to a live hydrogen trial in 2025 which will test the compatibility of Great Britain's Local Transmission System (LTS) to transport hydrogen.
The findings will inform government heat policy, and could pave the way for system transformation of the UK gas network to hydrogen.

Absolute pointless waste of time. The energy cost of extracting, compressing, and then using the hydrogen is so much higher than just using the electricity in the first place. Unless you're talking about "blue" hydrogen, which is made from natural gas, which is *even more* pointless.
