@@thelightersideofrc Not sure if you know Steve Stricker, he had the CG dialed in and it was one of the best flying jets I've ever seen. Did it on mine and it flew just the same. I have noticed that SkyMaster has moved the CG aft from the old kits, too nose heavy and it flys very different...not in a good way. Looking forward to the next video in the series.

I use the solder sticks for last couple of years, works great for anything from automotive to my train layout. Although i prefer a heat gun with a deflector tip. I just hook the solder stick, turn on and in a few seconds a perfect connection.

I could definitely see using those sticks to solder wires together in automotive/RV or marine applications. TBH though, I'd probably use some glue coated heat shrink as well, especially in a marine application.

G,day Jon. Really interesting build comparing the slight differences in both kits. Weight wise I don,t there will be much in it chalk and cheese me thinks. Can,t remember you are going to run a 300 in the single that's gonna be Brute as will the Twin. Quite Funny they just come across as substantial amazing to as the build is coming along reasonably quickly over all. The Solder connectors are great been using them on my Boat resto 24ft Twin outboard just makes everything so much quicker and tidy. Did the pull test between two vices didn,t break stretched the wire so yeah be using them on modeling projects from now on. Bit of a down side in NZ at the Mo we just had Hurricane go through and it,s absolutely Munted the East and North of the Country gonna take years to put right. Unfortunately we lost some people including two Volunteer Fire Fighters and 1400 unaccounted for. We dodged bullet where we are but only just. Great to have ya vids to distract me. Down side is everything gonna get real expensive now but cross that bridge when we get to it. Looking forward to the Chute and engine vid. Be wekk now. Cheers Nick.

@1:00 The wings nearest to you right behind you have the wrong inboard weapons pylons. Certainly NOT your fault, its SKYMASTER's error. NAVY Phantoms did not have those style of inboard pylons. The Navy's version pylons were straight from the wing down to a pointy tip. These here are the curved style, the U.S. Air Force style. Minor issue that really only rivet counters and f-4 nerds like me would see (LOL). But over all those look fantastic and wished I had one! Your building skills are great! And they are coming along well! Looking forward to completion.
