This is the first time a thing like this is happening in Anambra state, developments here and there. Very soon, Nnobi, Awka Etiti - Ichida - Igboukwu - Isuofia - Ekwulobia road will soon be dualized and from Nnobi to Nkpor will not be left out. You can see how this gov is connecting the entire Anambra cities and communities with quality good road infrastructure. And for you Mr Blessing Godwin, you are one of the best when it comes to giving us updates on Soludo's mega projects in our dear state, remain ever blessed my brother. Good news is that Anambra state will soon be known across Nigeria and beyond as a state with best performing governors. While Nigerians are celebrating Peter Obi for his good governance while he was Anambra state governor, they don't know that someone better than Peter Obi is already doing wonders in Anambra state, all for good of Anambra state in particular and Igbo land in general.

My hometown Nnobi will definitely be the fifth city in Anambra with the ongoing dualization happening there
@festusokeke66157 сағат бұрын
@@UgochukwuJoel-bx9ym Of course Soludo doesn't promise what he can't do. I heard him when he said during the commissioning of 1 kilometer road by Nnobi indigene that he carry out many projects in Nnobi as he said that Nnobi was a big town with very important personalities. And any development in Nnobi will be like development in Ekwulobia that will benefit many communities in Anambra state and beyond, including my own town. By the time he finishes dualization of Agulu Nnobi to Nnewi, Nnobi Awka Etiti to Ekwulobia and Nnobi to Nkpor, certainly Nnobi will become a city, and a very big one because good roads attract massive developments.

@@festusokeke6615while he is doing well. He promises what he can't do. He can't turn our Anambra into anything close to his Dubai-Taiwan rhetoric. Moreso, the development centres around Aguata and has far too little to deal with the people of Anambra North or even Orumba or most LGAs in the central district. The urban area development is still very much lacking. Ekwulobia is not a city. It's an urban area in ascension. Nkpor, Obosi, Oba Amawbia are far better places to be accorded those titles but we prefer referring to them as Onitsha or Awka as case may be.

Soludo is changing the infrastructural narratives in the state
@Austineokeke-x5x12 сағат бұрын
If the road does not carry weidth of a dual carriage road why calling it dualization. Is it not better we maintain our single lane road infrastructure than this false narratives. What's worth doing is worth doing well. Mind ndi anambra that we can never achieve the axiom of making anambra a livable home land and Dubai of nigeria with this act of compromised architectural standard.

@@Austineokeke-x5x Oga calm down. Anambra state is on the rise. Always see the glass AS HALF FULL INSTEAD OF HALF EMPTY. BE POSITIVE ABOUT ANAMBRA STATE. LIGHT OF THE NATION. Little by little, one step at a time, we will get there. Remember that the government is working with limited resources. We are not as rich in terms of allocation like Delta or Rivers state. Anambra state government is linking up the major cities and this is what we are celebrating. Be happy for Anambra people. No more NEGATIVITY. Be positive.

You should ALWAYS show the Name of the Town or City you have ENTERED with a BIG CAPTION like " At Nneni ", ......"At Nnobi".........."At Nnewi"..........."At Okija" etc. Then People watching know EXACTLY where or which Buildings sholud be demolished. Around Agulu/Adazi, yes, there are NO BIG Buildings near the Road. So those areas should be made as BROAD as possible. If Nnewi People want their part of the Road to remain ANCIENT, then jump ahead to Okija and continue EXPANSION of the Road.

Nnobi will become a concrete city jungle is that what you want for your town? A concrete city with pollution where there is no green spaces and economic trees to filter the air pollution from poisonous fumes of car exhaust gas/smokes, you want your Nnobi to become like Nnewi and Onitsha or Obosi where concrete has taken ones a thriving green space of Obosi, and Oba is fast becoming like Onitsha because of concrete development. I do not wish my town Ozubulu to be like that. I want town when I come back home to experience peace and tranquility with birds perching on trees singing sonorous song to my hearing, I want Ozubulu that thrive on economic trees that filter the air by absolving carbon dioxide and expend oxygen, where I want to feel and smell the greens, Ozubulu with lurch greeny everywhere you look, just like our grand father lived during colonialism, that is the Ozubulu that I want, not another concrete jungle cities like Onitsha, Obosi, Oba, Nnewi with no green spaces for trees. Ekwulobia, Nkpor and Ogidi are fast becoming a concrete jungle with no trees, this is not development. I know you won't agree due to lack of exposure. In Europe there are places reserved for concrete jungle even with that concrete city jungle there are thousands of parks for green spaces and trees. How many does Anambra have? Every Tom dick and Harry arebusy turning their towns and villages into concrete city jungle by indiscriminate building of structures. I pray my Ozubulu should be part of this mad rush for concrete city jungle cos that is absolutely the way I see development. I know some here will not agree with me. That is just it.

Keep up the works. I can applaud the road project and the fun city as the state direly needs them. As for the 10 storey hotel, it's a misfire than can still be remodelled to something meaningful instead of a white elephant project. The Awka mall is another well conceived idea
